This morning I'm trying Sahara WTA for the first time. I was hoping to find a new
juice that could compete with my beloved G. I. Joe.
I bought the 24mg nicotine which is what I normally
vape. Visually Sahara looks identical to my Joe and this bottle is 70/30 PG/VG. The liquid smells quite a bit like Joe but with a little spicier note.
Now the taste. Hmm. It reminds me of Aroma's Virginia (which I like a lot) but less strong, drier, more spicy, and has a kind of weird musky aftertaste. The throat hit is kind of strange, too. G. I. Joe hits me real nice and strong in the back of the throat, Sahara's hit is almost entirely on my tongue, sort of like a zing from a mouthful of soda pop. I'm not fond of it.
Some people may like Sahara. Personally I do not. It doesn't hit my throat right and the taste is a strange combination of tastelessness and dry boozy musk. It could very well be that since I'm such a Joe freak my palate is limited. An interesting thing though - when I smoked I smoked Winstons (read: G. I. Joe) and hated Camels (read: Sahara).
