Hi MPage..I was just thinking about new vapers...I`ve been enjoying my sampler of Strawberry Granita. It`s a mild flavour, very good, but mild. From what I remember of menthol light analogs I think this would be a good starter flavour. Maybe get a small bottle of Menthol Moon Drops to add a light touch of menthol to it.

Menthol moondrops is STRONG (but good) in my opinion. I second Loup's suggestion for a flavor and a moondrops. Then your friend can gently add menthol drops until she hits the right menthol level.
wintergreen is great because it taste like minty but it's fresh and it kind of slides off your tongue
spearmint is nice it's like a watery kind of mint to it and what i mean by watery is that it kind of slips off your tongue a little bit more than the wintergreen, but don't get me confused for the spearmint and the wintergreen they're both great flavors, but one stays on your lips more than the other, while one has a sort of a sticky fresh notes that dribbles around your mouth then leaves the room like a stray cat. (which is why I think it's called the spearmint "kiss") These two flavors are very closely alike.
vanilla mint is cool too but it has a sweet taste to it, it's more for the sweet tooth person who likes vanilla candy with a hint of mint in it.
menthol moon drops is straight supermint in your mouth, not that it's exaggerated, but the mint is totally there like HELLO !!! even the bottles itself have rocks of mint in it. super minty.
I personally do love a little mix of flavors mixed in with the mint flavors but if she was an ex-menthol only smoker, then a three piece sampler would be more obliged.
(i would suggest a three bottle sampler of wintergreen, vanilla mint*, and spearmint.
* = you can replace vanilla mint with menthol moon drops depending on how crazy of a menthol she is.)
then she can use three of them separately, and see which ones she likes, and if you get the small samplers, then a boge low resistance cartomizer will do, then she can use each of them separately on different cartomizers and label them, then one day she's going to stick to one cartomizer that has whichever flavor out of the three, (that's the more cheaper way, or you can go all out and get three Vision ego's with three different colors *she would love that*) then get a big ounce bottle of that and the vivi and BAM!

by the way i tried the vanilla peach the other day, on medium nicotine, O.m.g. it's like the peach is in my mouth. I don't know what's going on I started doing cartwheels and pretended I was in a grove of peaches worming myself out with an umbrella

Don't forget about Butter Cream Mint! Soft, creamy, sweet, minty and delicious! This one would be good amped up with a bit of Menthol Moon Drops, too (or Mint Tingle)! You are a good sister, MPage, I hope you will have a mad convert on your hands! One of my sisters introduced me to vaping and I am forever in her debt!
Honestly, I would get a few non-mint/menthol flavors she might enjoy. Everyone I've turned on to vaping has THOUGHT they'd like a tobacco or menthol and then they try *my* flavors and suddenly feel very dissatisfied with their own.
I agree, RedHen...I think having a nice fruit that mixes well with mint is a great idea...like Juicy Watermelon, or Strawberry Granita. Also, I think coffee vapes provide a true smoky quality that smokers miss. I also find that quality in Annette's Swiss Almond.

MPage, Annette might do a 10 sampler pack Stocking Stuffer like she did last year, which would be great for introducing VV to a newbie.
Aggghhhh.. how in the world will I choose?!? She has shown no true interest so I was hoping to find something close to her cig flavor. I will def give her some Kona Velvet since that seems to be such a hit. Hmmmmm..
It was that way for me, also- I still must have my Marlboro vape all day, but I love my V V flavors.
I used to be a menthol smoker and realized when I found vaping that it wasn't the menthol I was attracted to the most, but the nicotine. I tried a Newport and Menthol flavor originally and HATED them. I then went on to sample most of their fruit flavors and stuck to Mango, Fruit Punch and Vanilla with a light Tobacco exhale, no desire for anything minty since it's really not a flavor I like anyway!
They were all I needed to get me to quit and then I found VV and it was all over.... soooo many choices and such good quality! I would absolutely recommend the Blk Cherry Marshmallow or even just the Pillow Dreams for a sweet Vanilla Marshmallow (not too sweet, but not buttery-vanilla) flavor that could be vaped alone or mixed in with literally anything!! It can so easily be an all day vape! Absolutely go with a sample pack though! You'll get a better assortment of fruits, vanillas, coffees, desserts etc and she's sure to love a few of em! Good Luck... just try to think of some fruits and desserts you know that she likes and take it from there!
