I am a newb to the vape world. Writing a post to say hello.

I recently bought a disposable to try at a gas station. Even though I can tell it is of poor quality it was still quite a hit with the girlfriend and I. Since then I found a headshop here that sells Premium brand disposables. They also sell a starter kit and prefilled cartos.

We have decided to continue down this route for several reasons, most of which are probably similar to everyone elses. Yesterday, with the help of the info on this site, I ordered an Elite 808 kit and some juice =). I ordered yesterday morning and my orders were shipped out beforee I left work!! I cannot wait until they arrive so we can start with some real stuff hehe. The disposables just don't have much flavor, th or vapor.

I am REALLY excited for the kit to arrive and hope it gets here tomorrow becuase if it doesn't I will have to wait until tuesday at least for it to arrive with the holiday.

I have already learned tons from reading here, I am an information junkie. I look forward to joining the community here and maybe even getting to some vaper get togethers they have here in St Charles Mo every month.

The only problem I have so far is that i want to try ALL of the juices I can and can't afford to buy them all =p.

LOL! A lot of us go through the "I want to try everything" phase! We want to try the latest, greatest atomizers, cartomizers, tanks, PVs and flavors. I went through it and luckily settled in about 3 months after I started. I also took up DIY juice and that saves me a TON of money!

I Completely Agree with waiting for shipping... the suspense is horrible. Like me, when your kit arrives you'll be tearing it open and vaping ALL DAY. Don't worry about overdosing, you're bound to do it at first... Chain-vape away!

lol, i hope i don't OD. I selected med strength menthol fill for the 5 elite cartos that come with the kit and bought a 30ml bottle of vanilla ice cream and a 30 ml raspberry from V4L because that was the cheapest 30mls i could find. i really want to try the frost fruits from Myvaporstore, specifically the peach frost. Anyone have that one yet?

probably take a day or 2 to drain a 2ml carto and fill it with some new juice.

Welcome! And that's called mailman stalking. It's great to try all the juices, but remember there will always be more vendors and flavors than we have cash.

Edit: Blus fan eh? SpeicalJ is a Kings fan, me, Sharks. At least it's all in the Western Conference.

Hi! I am also new to vaping and LOVE the help from this forum - so thanks, everyone. Shipping wait has been a huge frustration for me as well. I ordered a KR808D1 kit from myvaporstore and really enjoy it. They actually shipped quickly but for some reason it took the post office 10 days to get it to me. The day it arrived I knew vaping was my quit smoking (analogs) solution so I immediately ordered some juice from gourmet vapor. 13 business days and 2 weeks with no juice (and lots of analogs) later they finally shipped it. =(

Thursday I ordered some more from madvapes and got it in the mail today!! I'm not liking the particular flavor I got from them so much but - a 2 day turnaround??? I will definitely keep trying what they have until I find one I like!

I find, like Tsuki, I'm chain-vaping like crazy. That said, I still smoke less per day (1 cart vs 1 pack) than I did on analogs because I take 2 puffs, put it down, pick it up a few minutes later and take 2 puffs, put it down, rinse and repeat. With analogs I was going outside every 45 minutes or so to suck down a smoke. Now I get more smoking pleasure much more often but actually smoke less throughout the day. Seriously - what's not to like??

i checked the mail before i went to my second job and my kit was here!! and the juice i ordered from V4L. ordered both thursday morning and got them today, saturday!! from cali to missouri, not too bad, regualr shipping too =).

both batteries had a 2 led(out of 3) charge and i used it all night and still have 2 lights on =). the menthol i got with the kit really hits the spot.

from V4L, i got raspberry and vanilla ice cream. i like both of those. AND they sent me 2 extra carts, i guess just samples, didnt know i was gettin those but its a sweet bonus. one was espresso and the other was watermelon. both of those are great too, and i dont even really like artificial watermelon stuff.

its my first kit, so i dont have anything to compare to except the disposables i bought, but i can tell its quality and i love the elite 808 already. i dont think any vape vet would be disappointed with the elite 808.

im so excited and i had not one lick of craving tonite at work for a real cig!

Yes, it's a great path, welcome! My craving for analogs also went away after a couple of days vaping. I still have a couple of packs of smokes in my desk drawer and they are not even a temptation. I've tried lots of flavors, have kind of settled on the V4L spearmint as my "go to", but I have a lot of brews in my arsenal for a little change of pace... 6 weeks for me now smoke free.
