I have had my Provari bout a month and a 1/2 now. I am a electrician, and I work with tools. I have not had this mod all that long, but I have put it through its paces. This thing has been riding in my tool belt the whole time, and has not failed. I spend alot of time in ditches (with my Provari), and the other day I had a service on a house that "HAD TO BE DONE". I spent 8 hours of a "RAINY" 10 hour day in this 5ft ditch running 175ft of wire in pipe to the house from the service with the Provari in my pocket. When I got home my long johns were just as brown as the other 2 layers of clothing surrounding them. 4 cartos later (3 failed) the Provari kept kicking. I was soaked in mud, the Provari soaked in mud, and my tool (provari) kept going. As a former Green Beret, and Electrician. I say buy the tools to get the job done. Provape stand tall and proud, you make a great tool!!!!!!! Now I am guessing my warranty might be out the window now, but I dont give a u know what!!!!! I wish I would have bought one of these sooner. These PV'S are like the FORD truck of the PV world, "built strong, built tuff". Provape as a man that has been in war, hard work, and general craziness. Take your hats off, and salute what you do!!!!!!! Thanks for giving me a PV that lives my life style. Anyone out there wondering what to buy, just go ahead and get the damn thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not BS's anyone out there, this thing works, and it's strong!!!!!!!!!! go for it!!!!!!!

LMAO bro. I had it in a ziplock bag, and had a carto condom over the drip tip. It helped, but it still got pretty damn dirty. My main concern was for it not to get soaking wet. If I knew the night before what I would have been doing that day I prolly would have taken something cheaper into the trenches, but it made it!!!

One thing i like most about the vari is how the electronics are mounted . Its made to hold up. The electronics are slid into the tube into machined grooves longways so when dropped its the steel tube taking the impact and not the electronics. ALso all electronics are one peice so theres nothing to break free and the fire button is concealed inside and the part you press is only a plastic button cover. Makes for less/no chance of the button getting damaged. It was well thought out and being in electronics myself i cant see any design being more tough . The stainless steel recessed connector is also a big strong point . Most mods have a soft plated brass connector which can strip easy.

This is an amazingly reassuring thread. I was worried that I'd have to baby my ProVari. I'm deployed with some Infantry guys, and going out on patrol is something that could happen at any minute. I'm using a GLV right now, and it's been taking a beating. With the ProVari being chip controlled, I was worried that it wouldn't hold up as well, but after reading this, my fears seem to be quelled. We'll see what happens though. Wish me, and my ProVari, luck.
