Same liquid - Different tastes in different devices

My appologies if this has been posted somewhere already. I use a 901 and 801 and have noticed that the same liquid can taste different depending on which device I'm using. Take RY4 because it's a big favorite. With me, RY4 seems a little more bold or defined tasting in a 901 than it does in a 801. I have no idea why. I find the same with other liquid as well. Does anyone else notice this and have any idea what may be the cause?

Definitely. I use a 901 and an 801, and there is a difference between the same juice in the two devices. I'm guessing it has to do with the temperature the coils gets up to breaking down the flavoring differently.

I have been wondering about this for awhile- I have an M402 and things don't seem to taste the same as what everyone else tastes; they get caramel with the riskee, I get freeze dried blueberries- am waiting on a nebula to compare flavor with, hope it fixes the problem.

Skad - Coil temperature differences between devices would make a lot of sense as far as an explanation.

Kerri - I tried RY4 because I really really like RY3 and because of all the hype, I figured RY4 would be like RY3 but better. Well, I tasted the same blueberry and was a little disappointed. But RY4 has grown on me quite a bit and it's one of my favs. Oddly, I don't get much of the blueberry taste with the 801.

I myself have noticed a difference in taste even from one atomizer to another on the same battery, my black EVO atomizer which has a slightly harder draw gives a "sharper" flavor than the white one with a lighter draw.

I definitely notice a difference between devices. I notice a difference in taste, feeling and vapor. I typically switch off between the 801, 901 and 510 throughout the day.

I use my 901 all day at work and my 801 all evening at home. I've been using 555 liquid and I, too, can confirm there is a difference when vaping it on both devices

I confirmed this today, I tried Strawberry liquid on a 801 and then on a SE3.0, on the 801 is was great, on the Se it tasted like cough syrup.

I also tried some other flavors, not extensively but enough to say they all taste better on the 801, sometimes with the SE I couldn't even notice the difference between 2 flavors because of the lack of taste.

There's truth to your assumption. When vape cola in my 401 it's not as flavorful as my 901. It also has a lot to do with keeping your atomizer clean. Leftover juice tastes different once it becomes resin and sits in your atomizer. For instance I ordered strawberry and a new atomizer. I was using it and it wasn't that pleasing. So I decided to try my new atomizer, and it was like inhaling strawberry jello powder. mmmm.
