And this was the comment I left at the end of the article...

How unfortunate it is that the opportunity wasn't taken when writing this article to discuss the most effective quit smoking method currently available, which is electronic cigarettes. In spite of the recent FDA release which used scare tactics to try and induce the public to avoid these products, those who use them are well aware of their relative safety in comparison to other FDA approved smoking cessation products. And it can only be hoped that the general public will not be misled so easily, because these fantastic products promise to save the lives of many hundreds of thousands of people who die each year from smoking.

For more information on electronic cigarettes, simply visit the following website and learn the facts for yourself, and read more about the success stories of so many of those who use these products.

Thank you Deadcat2 for helping the FDA. SE & NJ stance and the only hope they have of winning is that eCigs are NOT a smoking cessation device. If it is then the FDA is in the right, if it is a smoking alternative then SE & NJ are in the right. If we really want to keep eCigs around then people need to stop referring to them as something to quit smoking, then they'll stop being referred to as drug devices.

My comment on a website for a newspaper is not going to change anything, except maybe to get a few more people interested and learning about these things, so I guess I would have to disagree.

We run into this all the time. Read most posts, everyone talks about quitting and what they are referring to is analog cigarettes. We don't want the 4000 additives and 60 carcinogens period. Do I want to quit PVing...... NO. However, my last order of juice I bought a bottle of the nicotine light and guess what my next step could be?

I think it went like this:
If only one person could be saved then we need to do this
or this needs to be done and now

( you don't need to read the fine print trust me )

Something like that line is what they use when they want to take your rights away
