This is going to sound either very strange, or very conceited on my part. I have decided that I need a Provari, and I am about to pull the trigger. I am trying to decide between the Chrome SE model, and the original satin finish. I am not concerned with fingerprints, etc.

For the Mac users out there, does the satin finish match the color of the Macbook Pro laptop? If it does then I definitely want that.(I like my things to match) However if the satin finish isn't at least very close, I will be going for the chrome SE model.

I don't think it sounds strange or conceited :)

As you can see its very close.

I don't have a Chrome provari to compare, but the satin finish certainly has the same kind of functional quality look to it. They certainly don't look out of place next to each other on desk.

Well, it is a bit darker, but that is truly beautiful...The stock pics of the provari on the provape site just don't look as good as real pic of it. And you are right...It does have the same, clean functional look that I love about the Mac. Looks like I'm getting the satin, which actually saves me $20. Thanks all!

1 more question:

What tank mod would be the best to use on the Provari? I don't need massive capacity, which is why I'm not really looking to the MAP tank, unless it is just the best. Too bad they don't make the Mini MAP anymore...Right now I'm looking at either the VPX mini tank from NHaler, or the Vape-O-Matic Liquinator. The main thing I want is for it to not LEAK!

I have a storm tank, and it works great, but every time I put it in my pocket the top pops off and that's obviously messy.

I got a MAP tank to test out, because I was thinking of getting the Mini MAP's (there is a DIY Mini MAP coming), its very solid and I can't imagine the top popping off (Its hard to get off), but its a bit large for carrying around in pocket so I'm planning on the Mini MAP when its available.

I didn't know about the VPX, I'll have to check that out.

I'm biased, but the Liquinator is awesome on my ProVari. I just picked up my third today!

Of course, I don't know about the ProVari (or a tank) in the pocket. Are you talking a front pocket of a hoodie?

Actually I wear my pants fitting at the waist, but otherwise loose. I guess relaxed fit wide leg is how they are called. I was thinking one of the extra pockets on a pair of cargo pants. Or perhaps even the little "screwdriver pocket" on carpenter jeans.

I have been doing alot of reading and the liquinator sounds great. My only reservation on it is does it taste like a cartomizer? I guess because of the batting material, I can always taste a difference between dripping and carto's.

I am thinking about the VPX because they seem like a small colored MAP, which in theory is about perfect.

I think all cartomizers have some sort of taste and some are put off by it. If that's true for you, then it's probably not a fit.

It's not so much that I'm put off by it. I started on cartos with V4L, and they were great. But once I tried dripping with atties, the flavor is just better.

It won't be ready soon, but I'm actually pretty excited about the Scubagen V3. Got my name down on a Co-op list for a couple.

I feel the same way about carto's!

I've been wondering if it's time to revisit the carto's especially the dual coil carto's?

I thought about the dual coils as well. Especially the dual coil storm tanks, since they have batting it'd be a bit less messy if the top did pop off. I hear that the Provari can only use the DC's at lower voltages, since it sees it as a LR atty.

Just ordered my first ever Provari! Also bought a silver Vapemate from the classifieds till I find a tank mod that suits me.
