Thanks FandZ. The tubing and silica is from MSC Industrial, the silicone putty is Amazing Putty from Micheal's, and the reed diffuser you can get where they sell scents and stuff like that...I got it where I ordered some bottles but you have to buy 100 at 10cents each at Container & Packaging Supply.
Make sure your coil is gapped evenly and twist the cart back and forth slightly to get the wick in between the coils.
I have tried it out by just holding the bottle on my PT and it works good but I still need to make a JB for it.

Actually...you could just run the reed through the silicone and it would drip on to the coil, but I just like the wick to keep it at the coil and keep from flooding.

Let me know if you try it.

Ok, here is what evolved from this idea and the desperation of the numerous crappy 510 attys I am experiencing lately. I'm not finished with it yet but its functional. If this works out I will make a more compact version. As long as your coil is working this is one way to get your moneys worth out of them plus you have yourself a little Dripper/JB.

Oh...and I hate doing vids...but hey...you'll hate me doing them too if you watch it.:nah:

Note to self...Do not test mods late at night when you have to go to sleep!!

I have sitting here huffing on this thing and didnt realize how wired up I was getting. This has the thickest, wettest and tastiest vape I have had...EVER. I know now why the JB owners recommend reducing the mg of the juice. I will definitely be finishing this one up.

I was thinking of making a Y inside the cart and having two 10ml bottles with my two daily vapes fed to the glass tube directly so I could just push the flavor I want. Would be a little bulky but not much bigger than this and it would be all I need to carry.

Hmmm...I'll have to sleep on that....yeah right!!

Thanks guys...this is actually working better than I expected. I dont really need to pump it, I just keep a slight pressure on the bottle while vaping until I hear it start to gurgle, but you can tell when its getting the juice because its wet and flavorful.

Stormy..its a RS 3x2x1" box I had for another project and I used some camera parts for the batt connectors. I'm going to put a piece of shrink tube over the atty and feed tube to hold it tight against and pull the excess into the box to neaten it up some, so I have a little work to do yet. Dont forget to take all the burnt wick out and stuff a little new stuff on the sides of the coil. The only time it flooded was when I purposely did it to see how much it would take...but you are definitely letting off the button way before that happens.

keep the videos coming cos im always willing to steal your ideas. care to explain the wick stuffing to prevent leaking? is it that rope people use to rebuild attys? i like how you had done the top of your bottle. is it the putty thing? are these too many questions? :D

Questions not a problem D...yes the wick is the same silica rope for rebuilding, I carefully remove any burnt stuff and tuck some new on both sides of the coil. Dont pack a lot in or you will block the air flow...just enough to keep the juice from running straight through and hold it against the coil.

Yes, the silicone plugs are the Amazing Putty...just pack a DRY empty cart full and let it cure, then cut to size. For the bottle I cut the neck of the bottle off and put putty in the cutoff, then pushed it out after it set up a little and squeezed it down so it would be a little bigger than the bottle for a tight fit. I also cut about 3/32" off the cart too to keep the air flow and keep it back from the coil.

Problem is now I cant stop using it long enough to finish it...so I got some different boxes today to work on a two flavor double pumper.:p

thanks. now i gotta buy the putty and the rope... know where can i get them cheap?
2 flavors? good idea if they go well together. not if they are menthol and peanut butter :p

The putty I got at Micheal's in where the Plaster of Paris was.

The silica you can get here...the sleeving if you want long straight fibers, the rope if you want a cotton like fiber. Wash with hot water gently and sterilize with alcohol first, then let dry on a paper towel.

And the teflon tubing, I used 24ga but they have several sizes, just click on the page number to see them;

found a coupon code for free shipping. hope the 1/16 tubing is going to fit inside my 510 attys... nice place that msc!!! too bad they dont carry the putty. im gonna save your videos to my computer just in case you become a supplier and take em out :p
thanks, Nico!

Ha...I doubt I would be supplying...dont look like there's much interest in it...maybe sell DIY kits. Although, I found that its working so well I dont even want my 510 anymore. Matter of fact...so nice that I still have the cover taped on because I cant put it down long enough to finish it. I want to hinge the cover and close the screw holes up that aren't used anyway. I gave the cart a twist and the tube spiral tight around the atty neatly so it wont catch on anything.
This is like a hybrid between dripping and juice box. With the small tubing and big bottle all I do is put a slight pressure on the bottle while pushing the button an it regulates the flow just right...no pumping.

The putty you can order online...just google it. Dan on the Wizard thread still has the quartz tube also.

Nico.
A question ref:- teflon tubing
Would it be possible to fit a Y shaped splitter on the tubing,
so the liquid could be either bottom or drip fed.
Of course a stop valve or two would have to be fitted to turn one off and the other on.

Probably so Petercro...since the tubing stays put just by press/pull fitting it basically, I was going to get a small piece of Delrin and drill a Y in it and then press the tubing. Dont know how it will do with a straight hole though. It works on cart because once through the cart wall the tubing expands back to normal size locking it in. Need like a hollow pea size container to do it with as fittings that size are no where to be found. And gluing Teflon as you know is not an option.

But why feed both sides? I can purposely flood this thing if I want just by keeping pressure on the bottle after I hear the sizzling start. That what I like about this spaghetti tubing...it meters the flow really well.

Thanks nico.
Some people want to bottom feed others prefer to drip.
Was just wondering if it was possible to have a switch over option on a mod.
You could either drip of feed.

Oh I see...yeah anythings possible...or is that nothings impossible:confused:

I'll let you know of any progress.
