I was looking up the ITaste VTR and came across this forum tonight.

The Governor of the state of Oklahoma has signed an executive order banning vaping on all state property. There have been some city bans as well. I find it very annoying that politicians are jumping the gun before there is any proof that vaping devices are harmful to anyone. Especially since I began vaping on the advice of my doctor and trust his judgment over what is healthier for me and my family more than a politician or journalist. As an MD, I think he is more qualified to make that call.

I bought an 1100 maH Ego-Q starter kit in October 2013. My target quit date was November 1, 2013, and I haven't had a cigarette since that date. My doctor recommended 18-21 mg Nicotine to begin and I went with the 18 (although I will admit that the 21 would have made the first couple of weeks more bearable). I am now alternating between 16 and 18, transitioning down to full-time 16. My favorite grab-and-go setup is the Ego-C Twist set at 3.8/4.0 and the KangerTech T3S Clearomizer. I use a 50/50 juice.

I smoked 1 1/2 packs of "Ultra Light" cigarettes for 27 years. I quit. My husband, who has smoked a pipe for 43 years, has now started vaping about 50% of the time. Nothing has surprised me more than watching him reach for his EVOD instead of his pipe.

Thank you.

A big ECF welcome to both of you. Sadly vaping has a lot of people that don't want it to succeed. The anti-smoking zealots, the big tobacco companies and the pharmaceutical companies view it as a threat to the products they already have, ( like cigs, and nicotine replacement products). The anti-smoking bunch makes a lot of noise, and the other have tons of money, politicians are a self serving greedy and corrupt lot by nature, so they are more than willing to do what the companies with deep pockets pay them to do.
