hello.

i have a kangertech genitank mega with vamo v5. i like it but can see clearly much room for improvement!!

while i'm posting may as well ask a few questions;
how long should the coils last? mine begin to leak after 2-3 days of heavy vaping
would i be better off getting the 1.5ohm coils? i've gotten the 1.8ohm coils that came with the tank; i basically enjoy making vapor :vapor: so i'm guessing the lower resistance would help :confused: obviously this tank and battery i got aren't going to produce insane clouds of vapor, but until i get into the sophisticated rebuild able stuff, i want to make the most of this.

so thanks!
i joined to learn about rebuild able vaporizers that make huge clouds of smoke for at home or outdoors; also to learn about DIY e liquid. not much money, but Christmas is coming up and i hear santa is coming this year

thanks for the replies; i didnt know you could clear the coils; how do you clean them?
it goes up to 6 volts or 30watts, the vamo v5 - i read it's a square wave which isn't ideal
and the =/<1.2ohm coils are available for my tank? i can buy non-kangertech coils for my tank is my question, because i only ever saw 1.5ohm and 1.8ohm available

Welcome to both!!!

Store bought coils are pretty much middle of the road. Going below a 1.5 coil is going to get into rebuilding.

As to cleaning, people have different ways... For me with my KangerTech Protanks; disassemble completely, rinse under hot water while rubbing the surfaces. Air dry overnight.

Hope Helps.

cool redruth!! we use the same setup, that's awesome :)

frenchfry rebuilding is mostly why i'm here, so cool. what coils would you guy recommend for my set up to optimize vapor output?
yeah, about cleaning, i do the same thing but with cold distilled water; they were saying cleaning the coils - i guess put the coils in the distilled water (or normal water distilled water seems to be better for obvious reasons) then let them air dry? why do you air dry the tank and pieces completely? i wipe with paper tower what i can but i see no reason to dry them further and havent noticed anything negative about the little extra moisture ...

oh here ar esome more questions; these acronyms and such are killing me!!
maybe these a collected list of abbreviations to know for ECF, but i cant find it
