Hello there ECF!
I'm Kiki. I was a pack a day smoker (Marlboro Menthol 100's) since the age of 13 (I'm 27).
Three weeks ago I got and iStick 30w and Aspire Nautilus tank. I started on Mister-e-liquids RY4 with menthol shot.

I've become obsessed with vaping! The second week I bought an Innokin iSub and am loving it. Just wanted to heed the suggestion and say hi to everyone. Really excited to learn more and try out new things. This seems like a great community!

Hello and welcome to the forum @KikiVapes. Glad to have you here!:)

If you are interested in learning more about e-cigarettes (and all the parts and pieces) below are some blog posts by ECF member @Baditude that I highly recommend for someone new to vaping.
Here are a few more links from New Members Information <= Link covers many topics. Here are two of them:
Nicotine

A "general guideline" for nicotine concentration in e-liquid to the number of cigarettes smoked per day. If you are subohming (resistance under 1.0Ω) cut these nicotine levels by at least 50%.

06 mg = 10 cigarettes or less
12 mg = 20 cigarettes
18 mg = 30 cigarettes
24 mg = 40 cigarettes

eLiquid/Juice

PG = Propylene Glycol - the "flavor carrier" of e-liquid. A secondary source of "throat hit", but not as strong as the nicotine concentration. Some people have a sensitivity or even an allergy to PG. It's very thin.

VG = Vegetable Glycerin - the "vapor maker" of e-liquid. Used as a sweeter in many food sources, and also as a skin emollient. It's very thick. Often labeled just "Glycerine"

PG and VG are often used together in different ratios in e-liquid. For example, a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. Many juice vendors offer a range of different ratios as far as PG/VG.

Thank you guys! I started out at 18mg on my Nautilus and I'm at 6mg for my iSub. Seriously considering an iSub APEX5 if I can get my grubby little hands on one!
I learned my preference for VG/PG ratios the hard way (PG, while I loved and needed the throat hit to convert me, is now too harsh. Hence the sub with max vg :))

I'm really interested in learning more and looking at begginers dripping atomizers. I doubt I will ever get into rebuilding, but you never know! Thank you for those great threads!!

Wooohooo! Congrats on quitting :p Sounds like you started out with a great beginners kit! I started around the same age and smoked for 22 years, 35 now and almost a year stinkie free! Have fun in the vape world, be sure to read up on Ohm's law and battery safety before you get anything high powered/low ohm's

Welcome to ECF!

Hi and welcome. Good job on quitting. You need not fear drippers. Building coils is not hard, although there is a learning curve. There are also options: you can buy pre-made coils and just install them, or you can pay your local vape shop to coil it for you. Coils can last for months. When the wick gets nappy, pull it out, dry burn the coils to get the gunk off, wash and dry the whole topper, then re wick and you're back in business. Wicking a dripper is not hard. I taught my gal how in 5 minutes on Skype one night.
