I'm in Jacksonville Florida got a few ego kits a few different vivi novas a kanger protank3 a aga t3 and a crap load of juices in the mail is a couple vamo mods a couple hot springs and some other goodies only smoked a couple years wife smoked longer I drive a crazy a** prerunner tacoma with a custom bed wide flares bead locks and stripped interior so it can be water hose cleaned lol no cats but a crazy Irish Wolf Hound that hates it If you play dead and won't leave u alone till u get up .... Yes that was one sentence lol whew next battle rebuild the protank 3well >HEY< back at cha...

good luck rebuilding the kanger dual coil, I don't have one yet
so never tried my hand at one-yet...
Haha Ok two my bad. The plan is to build it just plain single coil. Bought it didn't know the price of heads then sighed... So it might be a work in progress but between the price and availability I doubt Ill buy the heads. I figure it can't be impossible right.... Right.... Lol
I agree I'm excited about it, my progression in vaping will be a lot better with some help instead of 100% trial and error lol
So got a question for anyone reading... I build a 5 wrap coil on Ss mesh fire it and the wire melts did I not oxidize enough what causes the melting wire? A hot spot ugh I'm about ready to give up on mesh and stick to Silica but I have herd so many good things about it. Maybe it's just not for me only reason I think it's the mesh cause I can build the same coil without it and it fires beautifully and evenly

melting, I'd think it would be a 'short', but I don't do ss mesh...
after watching PBusardo dismantle an Aspire BDC, I thought I might try
those, then when the coils 'time was up', attempt to rebuild them as a "SINGLE COIL"

Ahhh same page indeed I actually love the Pro tank 3 build quality is nice the attys it comes with are nice but I still want to cheaper reuse it. I figured it was a short I just can't get it oxidized right I think.... Gives me too much trouble and I'm sticking with silica
if you don't oxides your wick enough and you allow the wick to actually sit on the bottom of the tank the metal bottom of the tank it will short out.it may also be your wick is so tight in the wick hole it's rubbing through to the atty deck and shorting out there, but melting seems kind of extreme...what kind of wire and gauge are you using
