The reason you need a high drain battery is because the Xpro M50 claims to go down to 0.2 ohms and @ 50 watts could never achieve that without one, though I doubt it really puts out 50 watts, next time you can try a dna 30 / 40.
You should take a look here steam-engine.org

i was just looking at steam-engine.com, i even have the app on my mobile, what i've learned so far is that the samsungs 25R has an amp limit of 22A, so let's say i can go as high as 50 watts on a .7 coil, draining the battery at 12.8 amps, and still have 42% headroom on the amp limit. Given the nominal voltage is 3.6 as stated on RTD Vapor. Which i understand as that the samsung 25R are more than enough for what i'm using it for. Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, this is just an example to see if i get it right or not.
One interesting feature, which of course i don't understand lol, is that the chip would lower your wattage by 5 watts automatically when the battery is not able to provide the required power, does anyone have a clue? :?:

I think your going to be happy with .7 at 20 - 25 watts chuckin the flavor..
rip trippers ( youtube ) will show you how to do different builds if you need help......

Yep, i'm already subscribed. I just wasn't paying much attention to his sub ohm builds, but now that i can sub ohm, time to go back and check some of his builds to get ready for the lemo. I've also seen some spaced coil build here on the lemo, looked interesting. Is 24awg a must if i'm putting leads through the holes or will 26awg do just fine? Can you explain why 24awg is your choice for builds on the lemo?

What did you use to wrap on your kayfun? What kanthal, how many wraps and inner diameter? What pg/vg do you vape? Do you like clouds, or flavour? What mg nicotine are you using? The lemo can put out a lot, I vape at 6mg on my nautilus and egrip but with the Lemo... I might have to lower it again!

A good starting build would be 26g kanthal wrapped around 2.4mm screwdriver 7 times for 0.7/0.8 ohm. I used this with high vg around 20-30watts.

I like to be able to vape at a wide range, a good coil to me is one that I can vape from 15-40 watts. Depending on what I want, a hot or a cool vape, just up or down those watts and there you go!

I'm currently having a 1.6 ohm coil using 28awg kanthal, 8-9 wraps around a 0 screwdriver which i guess is visually around 2.4-2.5mm. 40pg/60vg. Very good vapor production on this coil, thick vapor but the taste is a bit harsh, maybe it's due to my coil gunking up fast and needing to be cleaned and rewicked, although i notice that with koh gen do the wick itself stays fairly clean while all the gunk is on the coil itself. OR maybe it's due to that i'm vaping 12mg, not really sure but i can't go high on this build. I would vape this at 3.3V-6 watts and get good vapor and taste then go up to 3.8V-8 watts and it gets harsh and i get juice in my drip tip and in the area where it sits in the top cap dunno why.

In that case, try 28awg, 8 wraps around 2mm drillbit or screwdriver, something smaller will do better with thinner juice, at 1.3 ohm. Use an healthy amount of cotton on the lemo, you want the end touching the lower deck. I have not used pg in the lemo, but with 40/60 you might want some cotton all the way on top of the feed holes.

Don't underestimate nicotine, at 6mg and low (0.7) ohms the lemo blew me away! On the lemo drop you can just see the liquid drop after 3-4 vapes.

I've had the same problems with the kayfun as you have, the Lemo solved my problem.

Thank you all for this warm welcome, this has been very informative to me.
To answer my own questions, this mod only takes flat top batteries. A 20A discharge battery like the samsung 25R is more than enough. I'm still waiting on my mod and the lemo to arrive, not too excited about the M50 though, some videos have been surfacing with not much positive feedback. Now i feel like 50 watts were too much, but who knows maybe in the future i might need all the power.

I guess this image gives an idea about the type of wall chargers that could be used, if i understand correctly anything between1A and 2A can be used, and the higher amps closer to 2A the faster you will be able to charge.

You'll have to double check with the manufacturer and all on what their charger is rated for and act accordingly -- but be aware while you can go down in amps (device wants 750ma but gets 500ma) giving a device that expects 500ma and gets 1amp is a good way to cause problems.

I'm playing it safe, charging it with my istick 20w 1A charger. I've learned through many devices i've owned (not necessarily mods) that slower charging is better. Faster charges don't last too much. Thanks for the tip though, i'll make sure to never go up in amps when charging.
I'm using samsung 25r batteries, 2500mAh, with 22A continuous discharge. This means those batteries are safe to be charged at maximum 2.2A. According to a tip i read somewhere that safe charging limit is set by the continuous discharge rate divided by 10.
