Just wanted to introduce myself..... Proud to say I'm a former 40 year PAD smoker thanks to vaping! I had no intentions of quitting (even though I'm a RN and knew very well I should) when I went to the vape shop with my adult son who had already made the switch to vaping. I had tried Blu and Vuse (horrid) in the past, but my son and the great folks at the shop convinced me to try some flavors and I was pleasantly surprised! I left the shop that day with a Vision Spinner II and an assortment of juices that I had sampled - I had one pack of Virginia Slims Menthol left from my carton. I smoked my last cigarette from that pack on 7/3/2015 before I went to bed. I woke up on Independence Day free from tobacco, and that's something I never thought I would say! I'm so grateful for vaping and have converted so many of the smokers in my life!

P.S. I don't use that Spinner anymore - I've gone through a few PVs since last July and I'm currently vaping with a Kangertech Topbox Mini and using 3 mg and some 6 mg juices.

Welcome to ECF, and congrats on giving up the cigarettes!
The Topbox is a nice little kit, but if you have any questions just drop a post and you're sure to get lots of suggestions. :)
I'm not very savvy on the tech side of vaping - lots of trial and error on my part! I like the Topbox - the only issues I have with it are a tighter draw than I would prefer. I alleviated this somewhat by opening up the airflow, but when I do that juice sometimes drips out of the holes - a lot of it!

Say what?:w00t:
I don't know who/what the TPD is/are.
TPD is Europe's way of banning certain products, nicotine strengths, limits bottle size, bans tanks.... basically shafts the e-cig industry.
There's no reason you should know, but Blu supporting this is an outrage.
72 million people will no longer be free to vape the way we have all been vaping. For any company to support that is evil.
I said I wouldn't rant :D

That is evil, but they're worried about their bottom line. They should worry - does anyone really stick with Blu?

Here in Chicago they just added an extra tax (on top of the sales tax) to nicotine products, effecting eliquids - doubled the price! I purchase my favorites online now without paying the nic tax or sales tax or any tax at all. All they've accomplished is to hurt small business - the vape shop. The shops here in the city are stocking up on 0mg juice and having the customer purchase the nic separately and then mixing it for them to reduce the tax. The nic tax is based on milliliters (imagine the tax on a 30 ml bottle), and no, nicotine gum and nicotine patches, etc. aren't subject to the tax - just eliquid. ....**ds!
