SB 510 connection question

I've had my SB for about a year now and it has worked great every day since i received it. I did get a 510-510 adapter a little while ago for a drip shield and just now with taking it off and cleaning the native connection, nothing will fire from a 306 to a dc carto, but when i put on the adapter it works just fine...how could I fix this?

Any idea how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

It sounds like the center post on the SB has been pushed down by the adapter. If you gently lift the center post a bit is should make contact again. I'd work around slowly being careful not to damage the silicone insulator surrounding the post. A tiny screwdriver or a push pin should work. If that doesn't work I'm sure that the folks at Altsmoke will fix it for you very reasonably. Good luck!

I used a paper clip to raise the center post just a bit and my SB works great again w/o the adapter always on Thanks again 440BB
