Just a quick question for anyone out there who might know.... the scar rba.... clone of cyclone or clone of whatever whatever.... it has (or HAD, I took mine off) an o-ring just under the driptip connection.
Anyone know what this is for or the purpose of it? Can't be aesthetics as its ugly!!
I have a pic I could attach but I'm a new member and I can't figure out how.... :(

From Madvapes. But I haven't tried it either. It's full of juice or i would pull it off and see. lol

The Scar Dual Coil RDA

The Scar Dual Coil RDA is a rebuildable dripping atomizer. It is 510 compatable and made from high quality stainless steel. This device works amazingly well and gives a strong hit with plenty of flavor. The Scar Dual Coil RDA has 2 - 3.0 Ohm coils installed that make a total resistance of 1.5 ohms. The Scar allows you to have the vape that an atomizer delivers with the convenience of being able to add more e-liquid to the well so you don't have to refill it as often. This is due to the 8 wicks per coil that soak up the e-liquid and feed it to the coil.

The coils are replaceable. They are attached to The Scar via 3 thumb screws for a quick and easy installation. The thumb screws on the outside are for one wire of each individual coil and there is a shared thumb screw in the center to complete the circuit. As some of the pictures show, there is a spare o-ring at the top of the device. This is a replacement for the 2 installed should one become worn.

These work really well. The original design being the Octopus has a great hit and produces a lot of vapor, but the Scar creates even more.

Ahhh!!! Beautiful!! Thanks Izan! Thats what thats for! Everyone else is correct too. It can be used as a spare i tried and they are same size interchangeable. Izan, do you know if the fusion driptip will fit the clone? It LOOKS to me like the little lip on the clone is just slightly longer. Could be wrong though.
Also does anyone know how this thing is laid out under the deck? Im thinking of drilling out the bottom airhole to make the diameter of the dual air ports under the coils equal for better flow. But im worried it will mess something up. I know i can see the positive post when i shine a light into the intake hole. Anyone help me out with this one?
Thanks all, i really appreciate the help. This is where i come from now on for all questions i cant figure out!

And yes, i have an octopus too but i wanted a dual coil option and my octopus only has the one negative post. I just love that dual airport under each coil with the intake between the orings on the top cap seals.. awesome flavour! Just wish they wouldve made the bottom oring hole at least 50% than the the duals combined for better flow... hence the previous question.

If it would fit more devices, I'd pick it up, but it's way too dear for a only a few drippers.

I don't own the deck fed version, so I can't shed any light into those holes either.
