Scared to spread yourself too thin?

I'm in a bit of a pickle right now. I keep seeing so many people talking about all these amazing sites they order their liquids from. I currently have been working with HHV, RAWR, and Ahlusion for my liquid. I'm somewhat intimidated by all these other sites. I feel like since there are so many flavors on just these three sites that if I ordered from some of these other sites, Pinkspot for example, I would be spreading myself too thin and almost cheating myself out of some vapes. Anyone else feel the same way? I'll probably break down and order from some other sites, I was just thinking about this today at work. Surely I can't be the only one who's run into this.

I'm in the same kind of mindset right now. I've only ordered from RAWR and VapeDudes. I've found a few flavors I like from each, so I seem to just keep stocking up on those. I want to try some other flavors to vape, but for my head to think its "worth it" I need to find three or so flavor on a site that just sound AMAZING or that I have seen awesome reviews about.

Like right now I'm looking for a lime-aid juice, but finding a vendor with that, and some others I'd like to try is becoming difficult.

I feel the same way, but honestly I am going to do my cycle through all the vendors I am interested in. Each time I'll order at least 4-5 juices to get a good idea of their overall juice quality. Of course, even when I run into vendors I like, and I am tempted to order from them again, I am still curious about other vendors. Eventually, I think I will decide which vendors I will buy from over and over again.

Pat, I understand your thinking. I'm slowly trying to order from different vendors - one at a time - to see which vendor I like best. Most recently, I ordered some from Virgin Vapors and that juice is now in my closet steeping. I've got some Backwoods Brew juices that are also steeping and will be ready to vape next week.

The mistake I made initially was buying too many samples from each vendor I tried, which left me with lots of juice I didn't like from some vendors. I'm now trying to limit my purchases from each new vendor to 3 samples. That way, if I just don't like the base that a vendor uses, I'm not stuck with 10 bottles of their juice.

I have found I only like about 1 out of 10 juices that I have tried. It gets very expensive to keep ordering juices that I don't like and there are just so many vendors out there. Not to mention a flavor at one vendor might be incredible while that same flavor from another vendor is awful. I try to find people who like the same juices/vendors I like and find out what else they like hoping we might have similar tastes. A good option might be to try out the PIF sample swap too. That way you can try a lot of juices from different vendors and don't have to pay shipping for each one and you can try a variety of juices.

Setting aside the juices I didn't like and letting them steep for a month left me with some I still didn't like, so I started swapping here on ECF to expand my flavors and find more.

If you can find a vape meet locally you can share with other vapers, dripping a bunch of different flavors. If you can get to Richmond, on October 12 and 13 the Vapercon meet is free with dozens of vendors that will be happy for you to sample their juices! I wish I lived in Virginia - I wouldn't miss the chance! (As well as the freebies!)

It took me a while to find my niches, which are coffee and fruit flavors. Not so much into desert or candy flavors, definitely don't care for the tobacco's. I have one menthol that I prefer over a few others that I've tried, and have decided to stick with it. It turns out it was the first menthol and first juice ever that I tried.

I have several favorites in my coffee and fruit categories now, but because that is what I prefer to vape most, I'm continually on the juice forums here for ideas of to order a sample/trial size of something that might interest me.

I fully understand where you are coming from, and I found myself having that feeling in the beginning. But when I stepped back and thought about it, I realized I was taking some of the fun out of it for myself. In my buying frenzy though, I did figure out that I like strong bold flavors and mainly tobaccos in all varieties. I don't like to think I'm limiting myself, but I'm personally very happy with having just a few favorites for now. But it's fun knowing the day I want to venture out and try different samples, there are lots to choose from. I'm pretty sure I don't like vaping desserts and I'm just not a menthol person. So my fav vendors with my fav tobaccos may have the best cheesecake out there, but I just don't feel the need *right now* to try everything from that vendor. I gotta keep it fun with no pressure. Cigs controlled me for too long, I refuse to let liquid do it too. Just keep it fun! :)

RJ has an excellent point!
It was overwhelming two years ago when I started vaping and now its really overwhelming.
I've tried a lot of juices, and ended up sticking with Backwoods Brew, DFW Vapors and WizardLabs.
It all depends on what you like. If you order from multiple vendors, it's OK.
I have found my preferences, and that's what I get...;)

I was like that in the beginning, but I found a way out of that feeling ... sample packs and contests, LOL. I think I amassed some 200 flavors from a couple dozen companies in maybe the first 3 months. I wasn't spending money on cigarettes anymore, so I spent it on "finding my zone". I've since found that zone, but I'm glad I had a chance to find what was out there, so that I didn't have too big of a "I wonder what they're like" feeling.

Almost 3 years only vaping and for some reason I'm on the hunt for new favorites, it's kind of fun but frustrating too. For at least 2 years I had my favorites but suddenly I'm sampling lots of juice from different vendors.
Oh well I tell myself, I'm not smoking so it's all good. But now I'm looking at e-pipes! And mods! Help I think I'm a vaperholic :D

I find one for you, Limelight from ahlusion wiht the "breeze" menthol option. It doesn't taste mentholy at all, it brings out the lime so well, just like you'd find in a good limeade drink.
