I was lucky enough to have started with a Joyetech eGo C upgrade and can't speak highly enough about it. I would consider it definitely your next step and you may never go beyond that as it delivers for me. I have not gone to clearos nor tanks and use Boge LR 2.0-2.4 cartomizers. I've been researching for weeks trying to decide on clearos or tanks and they all just seem too finicky and I don't like to fiddle. The caro I use is P Busardo's favorite and I figure if they're good enough for such a seasoned vaper and reviewer, they're good enough for me. BTW, I just found his page after watching his videos for months. Here it is as it has helped me:

Edit: Wow, I guess trying to give you that link is illegal. Just google "tasteyourjuice."

Sounds like everyone has got you headed in a good direction, all I'll add is beware the inevitable Provari fan lurking around. Albeit a fine product, it's not the only best option out there when you head (maybe) to the larger mods later. I've seen many posts with your similar questions and some fanboy has to get a -vari bump in, not even related to the original question.

...damn, looks like I've done it for them.. sorry.

Do it! I have been quit of analogs for two weeks, and I researched the ego and bought it. I have the Ego diamond 1100. Great battery life easy to use reliable. I would recommend 100% to get a ego. But get the ego twist or something that has adjustble settings, but still easy enough to not overwhelm you. I love mine I just wish I would have gotten the twist. Pravari next for me though!
