Scratched ProVari window..any ideas?

any ideas of getting a somewhat deep scratch out of my provari window?

other than sending it back for Provape to replace.. I don't know. I don't think that would be covered under the warranty though.

thanks donnah! I read online about trying lemon pledge cleaner for it has a bit of wax, works wonders on sunglasses so hopefully my provari...not too worried about it tho, next month I'm going to order a chrome ProVari and I'll make sure to keep that fresh, my current will be my out and about.

I hear ya. I'm a machinist and though I've only had my provari a few weeks, it's been scratched a couple of times at work. My wife says its not noticeable, but I notice hehe.

Doesn't effect the awesome vaping power though so I tell myself to relax...but it's difficult.

Deep scratch sounds potentially like an etch and if so probably needs the plastic replaced if the "scratch" is that big a deal to you. Cost you less just to send it in than mess around with a bunch of products to get it out unless it actually is a light surface scratch. Think I read someone say in the classifieds it would cost 5.00 to have Provape replace the plastic.

Could add the cell phone screen wet application material (zagg/ghost armor) or cut down a dry static one to be proactive for future scratches

Hmm actually I'm going to do this when I buy mine in a few months. Have a few screen protectors laying around.

I hear Maguires makes an excellent plastic renewer/rejuvinator/whatever.
Works great on old plastic headlights, bike helmet visors etc.
This one may be a little overkill for your purpose but they do have
other options......

Thanks Frick I was trying to remember what it was called. I got some along with a custom acrylic tower case I was building a watercooled PC with.

It works really well. The kit I got had 3 different bottles - #1 is basically just clean/shine - the #2 and #3 are for heavier scratch work, #3 being for the worst.

It is good stuff. Is that window made of acrylic? (just curious)

Not sure if it would work, but I've done this to my glasses to remove scratches, as well as DVD's and Music CD's.
