So I got this new Nano. Excited because I want to fill this guy up and give it to my wife. Thankfully, I decided to give this new thing a try before handing it off to the Mrs. Problem is, I fill it, quickly, screw the top on and let it sit. Within a short time, it is leaking bad.

I'm sure there have been many discussions. I've tried to browse the threads without much success. Hell, point me to a "here is how you do it dummy" thread if you must. I just can't seem to fill this thing without it leaking everywhere. Yes, I did do a search for nano threads and didn't find an obvious answer on how to keep this guy from leaking. I filled it and immediately screwed the top on quickly. Then, I set it aside with a folded tissue under it to capture any minor/major leaks. Every time I fill it, I have a puddle of juice under it within minutes.

What in the hell am I doing wrong???

Have you tried vaping it several times right after you fill it? I haven't had one of these since the first batch came out, but this worked for me then.

That's what I do and it seems to work. I'm no expert by any means but IMHO it helps it wick faster and creates a vacuum seal... preventing leaks. I'm still using mine from the first batch. Only one failed because I accidentally broke the tip off.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I wouldn't recommend taking drags with the Nano on a battery immediately after filling it. The way it is built requires time, or some other "force", to get the liquid to wick into the filler material inside and then to wick into the wicks themselves. If it is used, immediately after filling, you are risking dry burning it too hard which can burn the wicks and result in a taste like you're vaping a pair of old socks. You can take a few drags on it without having it on a battery to help the liquid saturate the filler and wicks prior to using it on a battery. Putting your finger over the bottom can also help with saturation and developing the right pressure equalization needed to keep them from leaking.

Given the construction of a Nano, over time the press fit where the outer barrel seals to the base will become loose from stress. This will result in air infiltration making it leak and there is no cure for that problem unless you want to try silicon seal on it.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it. Your results and mileage may vary. Nor warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied.
