Screen Printing Mesh

Ok all you cart modders. I am new to this whole esmoking thing. 20 days and no analogs. I am trying to find some PTB's three stores and no luck. This morning I woke up and thought to myself what are these things made of?

Is it silk, nylon, polyester, who knows. But I used to print T Shirts and I was wondering if anyone has tried screen printing mesh as a filler. Screen printing mesh comes in many different micron thread diameters (Holes per inch), weave styles and fabric styles. For example If you use VG I would think you would need more wholes per inch for better wicking.

So my question to everyone, has anyone thought of trying screen printing (Silk Screen) mesh? It's relatively cheap and I have a felling it might be the same stuff PTB's are made with.

Just an idea but someone might want to look into this.

You may want to look at this thread. A cheap alternative to PTB

You'll have to look into what you want to use to see if theres any chemicals that treated that stuff or whats its made out of to tell if its safe.

People tend to try and keep to something made for food/beverage/aquariums as that would seem safe to use.

I was just posting an idea for people to look into. It seems everyone here is looking into anything and everything to stuff into their cartridges. I was just providing another idea for people to look into.
I have read allot of post and I understand the health hazards of the materials used in cartridges. And besides some people on this board seem like they are almost at the point of just wanting to inject the eliqud into their bloodstream. It would be less of a hassle than dealing with these damn carts.
Warning do not inject your eliquid it is not proven to be safe.

I print to, well used to. I was thinking the same thing, maybe some 110 or 230, but I'm worried it'll melt. I've never done the PTB for the same reasons as you, I can't find it. Give it a shot, it might work.
