:confused:No pun intended. I use joye 520 batteries and from time to time one of the batteries just decides it does not want to have a cartomizer screwed into it? when this happens I usually try two or three other cartomizers just to see if one got the threads messed up. Won't work. so I put the battery away for a few days then take it out and use it and it works fine.
Now I know with every fiber of my being that makes no sense. so what has happened? did I slip into an alternate reality or what. this has happened several times since I started vaping.

The only thing I can think of is a thermal issue.

If you had been vaping just before you tried to change your cart, the threaded part of the battery may have been quite hot (specially if you have been "hitting" hard at the end of the previous cart). Since it is metallic, it should expand a bit while your new cart is still cold. Now, it is a bit larger than a cold battery. As a result, the cart and the batt might not fit properly until the battery has had some time to cool down. It may take less than a few days to get back to it's original size, but you will have problems for an hour or so.

Try to check how hot it is next time it happens...

Short of finding a way to cool the battery (without getting water into it!), I would just use a new one for the change of cart and use it again after a hour or two.

To me it makes sense and you are not nuts :p
