Exactly right Smokey Joe - the opening logo shot tweaked. I like the retro aspect of the show. I photoshopped the image with some help from a friend to reduce it and maintain resolution.

Ok, I found a way to block it using Adblock Plus in Firefox using the info from Kent below that he uses in AdMuncher. Thanks for posting this specific info on the script, Kent! I just chose the item in Adblock Plus and added it as a filter to block on this site.

Via AdMuncher, one of the best ad blockers and I've had a few:

Remove scripts with text:

One can get rid of annoying sigs ;-) ads, banners, I got rid of the twitter link. I know it's not 'good' for the sites but it's like having a dvr. ;-) Just right click>admuncher>block image(url, script text, etc).

I think I posted this somewhere here but my cousin got a new dog a while back and named it 'Swiffer' (it was one of those small long haired dogs where you can see the face much ;-) but I didn't understand the 'Swiffer' reference. I simply haven't seen too many commercials because I either VCRed or DVRed almost everything I watch and never saw a 'Swiffer' commercial - fast forwarding through them all. Cuz and his wife and kids simply couldn't believe that I had never heard of it!!, but I hadn't. Since then, I made it a point to see one and now 'I get it'. lol

OK, looks as if the banner might have to be removed. I shall try to come up with something a bit more light-weight instead.

I'm looking into a javascript version that might be able to do the same job, albeit without the auto-scrolling.....
