Scubagen V3 clone info required

Hello ECFers;

I own 2 of those clones (probably from co-ops),the kind that came with nails and springs for posts;

I dont like that...its too ghetto...surely there is something better out there for posts,solder doesnt really stick to the nails and in 1 kit,I had to improvise something because the beads were not into the kit...effectively making it even more undesirable.

They both work though...but I wouldnt want to put that for sale,even if my worst enemy would want them. (not that I want to sell them)

Throw me some ideas!

You can tap the holes as I have done. I put a bolt in mine with nuts that I filed down with my drill.

What size taps did you use 4-40??? Thats the only one I found that needed a 1/8 or 0.125 hole starter also 4-48 I think?? You mentioned holes does that mean that you did the same thing with the positive posts as well?? if so/not what did you do with the positive post? Did you leave it as it?? Pics to illustrate your work would be greatly appreciated. TY in advance..

I would use 4-40 as well,tiny and right for the job
