OK so it's mot really a mod, but more like a fix. I have noticed lately that my carts seem to fit a little loose on the atty. A couple of my carts are so loose that the SE will fall out of the cart if I am only holding the cart. I was looking for a way to make the cart fit a little tighter and came across some good ol Scotch tape. The tape just happens to be as wide as the silver part of the atty that the cart slips on to. I cut a piece of tape just long enough to stick all the way around the circumference of the atty, then slipped the cart back into place. It was a bit tight, but it slid on with a little push.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the tape must have sealed off a little bit of air leakage that was coming through the atty and cart. Now my SE/4081 gives a much nicer hit. The amount of vapor I get is almost the same as my 510!! I took the cart off a few times to refill it and the tape is holing up well and has not come off yet.
I don't know if it's just my atty that was having this problem, but if your cart is a little loose after you slip it on to your atty, give this a try and let me know if it works for you. I was always pretty happy with my SE/4081, but now I love it.
