Does anyone make, or is it even possible to make a sealed automatic 510 battery?
A few months ago, I bought a Joyetec 510XL T pcc kit. I wanted something that I could use when my eGo manuals were inconvenient to use... i.e. when driving, or when working with both hands, where the auto's allowed hands free use...
In 2 1/2 wks time, I killed 3 batteries. When I contacted my supplier, he stated that I had shorted them out as a result of drawing on them hard enough to pull juice around and it dripping into the batteries. I don't believe I drew on them any harder than any other unit I use, but the point is moot. If this IS the case, then I simply need a sealed battery. I went back to using my eGo's full time, as they are sealed, and therefore immune to this problem.
The trouble is, I now own a PCC that I have no use for(not to mention the $100 spent on the kit). I will assume the 510 manuals are sealed? Even so, this does nothing to solve the hands free issue. If I have to push a button, I'll stick with the eGo's, because battery life on a 510 for me is about an hour or so.
I do not know if it is even possible to build a sealed auto battery, due to the way in which it operates, but if there's one out there, I'm sure someone on here knows of it. If anyone knows of a company that makes one, fill me in, please??
Thanks in advance..... Konrad
