Last year Zmax circuits were sold by a US shop, who now have stopped stocking them, sadly.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of one or a circuit similar, with 1 button control, and VV/VW option, as well as the screen already attached, really ideal for what I want. I mean to make a mod in box form, using this sort of circuit. I don't want to use a 3 button one, unless it has a blocking function for the settings (unlike a Vamo) :glare: as I tend to press the little buttons and find my PV at 15W instead of 4.5W, very surprising .:p and unpleasant, IMHO !

Please if you have an idea of somewhere that still stocks them, or something similar, in quantities reasonable (I don't want 50 of them, or any where near  ), but a maximum of maybe 5 :2c: .

Any links would be a great advance, as I've found none. I really want to make the mod that's in my head only, for lack of this circuit board ;)

My thanks for your aid :vapor:

Yeah, thanks duckie, I tried Hoosiers, they do have a lot of spares, but not circuits that specific. :( As well they've just changed their shop, so they must've had them before.
50$ is a lot, as they were under 20 last time I saw them, and I just bought a Zmax complete, a telescopic one, for 40$, but thanks, Acidespring, if I don't have any other leads, it'll be better paying 50$ for one ready to install than taking one apart and re-using it in another mod, largely worth 10$, IMHO. They're probably easy to take apart if you know the trick, but if not, as is my case, it's brute force applied with a delicate touch (a bit contradictory, but it's really not easy getting a circuit out, especially with out damaging it, lol ;) )
I'm using my Zmax, as well, at the moment, as it arrived the other day. I don't know if it's me, or if it's a general problem, but probably the premier. Up till now I'd used a Mec mod for a couple of weeks, and have the habit of giving a few little bursts, which obviously changes a reglage.
The best VV/VW I used for the electronics was a V4L which block the settings when you pushed on the 2 little buttons, but the body was absolutely useles, got through 3, then gave up with the guarantee. But the electronic theory was great.
Ah!!! If I could make the perfect circuit, small enough...and if ifs were horses... :D
