Am I the only one having problems with the search function?

Here's the error message I'm getting:

Oops! An error occurred: connection to 10.0.0.3:3312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)

This is a known issue at the moment and our code monkey will get it fixed soon.

Speaking of search problems. Any time I do a search for something in particular, no matter what I type in, I get the same damn results every time. They never change. It's always the same exact threads in the same exact order that have absolutely nothing to do with what I searched for. What gives???

Search is completely down at the moment, most likely what you are seeing is the cache of your last "working" search result instead of the error message.

warp, 'new posts' has been working and updating so some features of search seem to be ok. just wish alex could get the rest going again, and properly

I've been getting the same error for about a week or so. Bummer, I'd really like to be able to search the forum.

I am also getting the same error when I go to "My Posts" as well as the search function. And a huge thanks to everyone who works on the site! We would all be in a worse place if it wasn't for ECF

Search is completely down at the moment, most likely what you are seeing is the cache of your last "working" search result instead of the error message.

No no, I mean before search broke. This was pretty recent. About a week or so give or take.

still not working and I had to reply to this twice before it showed up

While the search built into the forum is not working, you can still do pretty effective searches using google. Just type in: "site:e-cigarette-forum.com" and then a space followed by your search term(s)

or click this link and do the same:
site:e-cigarette-forum.com - Google Search

For example if I type this into google: site:e-cigarette-forum.com "search function"
...this very thread is the first result
