Hey guys. I currently own 2 eGo-C Twists, which I am happy with when it comes to portability because of its rather small size. However, I am now looking for a new mod or AVP for inside the house. What I am looking for :
-Great vapor production.
-This is my main concern. I have begun to enjoy messing around with vape tricks :) and i want to take that to a new level. This will be easier with higher vapor production. I am looking for the best vapor i can get from either a mod or APV, whichever can preform this task better.
-The rest comes with the vapor I am assuming, such as throat hit. That is the second thing i am looking for. (I know nicotine mg's will most likely be the factor in for that effect, however the mod or AVP i use im sure will make a difference as well.
-High Voltage
I believe higher voltage, possibly a voltage regulator (such as in the eGo Twist) will contribute to me getting the first two needs that I am looking for.
-That's it!

So recap: Main need is a large amount of vapor.
----By the Way, my spending cap is around $250-300, but i dont think i need to spend that much to get a high quality product. Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Happy vaping!

Thanks for that info vaping turtle. Would you happen to know a apv that produces great volumes of vapor? (No spending cap) I've been reading threads and looking online and I've seen some stuff on the panzer mod, the silver bullet, the nemesis and vaperzone's rebel. Would any of these be a good choice for me? I'm sorry about all of the questions but I'm hitting dead ends on the internet when it comes to the best mod/build for a apv.

Dupe posts bad thing. If you want to chase clouds you go with a RDA and high or all VG juice. Use to be you needed a mech but now you can go with one of the DNA mods. Would not get a Hana or cana i'd get a IPV 50 or a Seven 30 or 22. All of them have a 1 year warranty. I have the Seven 22 and love it and am going to order he IPV 50 soon. I also have a cana mod and it sucked went out the first week and when I opened it up it was full of hot glue. Had a crappy connector that shorted. Those mods i recommended are built on a better chip think it is an SX something.

But I have been looking at the MCV Panzer, possibly an Atomic RDA also from MCV, an 18650 battery (not sure which brand/make yet). How does this sound?
And I may have left something out that I might need. I'm still learning but this forum gives me the best-straightforward-personable answers so I prefer to ask here. I have been doing my fair share of research, but like I said, I like to post here. Thanks!

you know you'll have to set it all up when you get it, right ? So you will have to build your coils, which means you'll need an ohm meter (or multi-meter), some wire, a few batteries (Sony 30amp) and a good charger. I'd start watching ton's of videos on building coils. Through them you will most likely see some mods you like and how they perform.

Yeah I knew that I would have to build it but as I continue to look, it's probably better for a beginner, such as myself, to not jump to to making my own mech mod yet. I want the clouds and mass production of vapor, so I'm thinking I should look at a regulated Mod I think it is a better choice for me and after time when I do extensive research (as what should be done) I'll start creating my masterpiece lol.
I know people look down on VV's when it comes to cloud chasing. But I'd prefer not to blow my face off for being to antsy for a mech mod.
So--- I don't think I wasted your time because you guys helped me realize that I am not yet ready for my own creation. And now if you don't mind me turning the tides- I'm going to look into a ProVari VV regulated mod. I'm going to look now if this will produce a lot of vapor... I just was reading on it on another thread so I'm going to look further into it because people were giving it some praise. Sorry for the essay, but if I still have your attention any comments on this idea?

The clouds are going to depend on what you put on top. You definitely can throw clouds with some regulated mods, they just cost more...which doesn't look like an issue if you're looking at the Bently of mods. But like I said what you put on the top is going to make the difference. If you don't want to build coils that leaves tanks and I don't think you will see much of a change from what you have now but that's JMO.

I'm thinking about actually building now. It's been a toss up in my head over the past few days but when it comes down to it, like you said Kracker, what matters is what's on top. Maybe an RDA is what I need to build because if I really want the best results (which I do) this is the necessary step. I've just got to not be the lazy .......o that I am and get to looking up how to build myself. OR maybe I'll find a vape shop that will create a build for me lol. (Not sure if any do that but I would definitely pay extra to cut out the work. (I know I'm lazy..) but that is something I would travel a bit for and pay extra to have happen. So I'll look into that as well. But- back on point-
*would the panzer and a sony 30 battery and an Atomic RDA sound like a build that will give me some quality results? Thanks a ton for any future answers. Like I said, I'll take any/all help given to me to get the best results.

My 2 cents: grab a mod with a DNA chip or comparable. I have a sigelei 20w. If I was buying one I might consider something that goes higher but it was a gift. Get a simple dripper, there's tons take your pick. Get a digital multimeter and learn how to use it. Compare what you test a coil at to what your device shows the resistance being. Get really good at building a single coil. A single coil well built and good air flow can blow rather nice clouds. Once a single coil is easy move on to double. Higher vg helps and lower your nic. Rda's will chuck a lot more nic at you than you'd expect if you're new to them. Once you're comfortable with building, your digital multimeter and ohms law you can get a mech with confidence if you wish.

Ok sounds good. And I'm going to head to a vape shop tomorrow that will help me build the coils for my RDA. So I'm going to give them another call and see what kind of mods they sell. I might buy my goodies offline then bring them there for them to help me build though so I don't just settle I get the best. But it's hard to find genuine mods offline. Most seem to be clones. And yeah I've looked at the most popular vape online stores that were posted on a forum here so I've checked there. But I'll give the shop another call and maybe look into going outside of ct (where I live) and maybe head to NYC cause I'm sure there will be bigger and better vape stores there

Good advice ! The B&M here offers a coil building class every Thursday night. Wish they did that when I started. If you buy the mod and RDA there they will build it to like .8 My opinion you're going to NEED to know how to do it your self or you're going to end up jammed up. They WILL need to be tinkered with. It's not hard at all, you just NEED an ohm tester, watch some videos and build a single spiral coil, make sure it's not shorting out vape it. Then do a single micro build. When you nail that try a dual. Just get an RDA that's easy to build on. I LOVE to build on my Zenith it's so easy ! Love the vape of my Trident but it sucks to build on ! I actually want to try an Atomic looking at it online it looks small like the Trident ?? What mg are you vaping ? Like cool-breeze said lower it I went from 24 in a clearomizer to 6 in a RDA.

Ok folks, so I went to a vape shop in ct called E-Six. Picked up my first mod!! Got a Vanilla mod, sony 30 amp battery, and an Origen RDA. The clerk built the RDA in front of me so now I've got somewhat of an idea of how to make one myself for the future. It is .5 ohms. I'm very pleased with it this far and I'd like to say there was a happy ending to my search and this thread!
