After reading another post on here it got me to thinking on how tastebuds among other things seem to change in the winter months. How do you think winter will effect your vaping? Do you plan to change your juice lineup? More/less nic, different flavors? Do you plan to change out your PV?

With the jackets coming out for the winter there will be plenty of room to stash extra batteries, a PCC, a higher volt mod, or all of the above depending on your mood.

I'm thinking my 510 is going to kick .... in vapor production through the winter. As for juice I'm thinking I'll lean more towards the stronger tobacco flavors and stay around 18mg that I'm using now. As for higher volt mods I think once the jackets come out they will seem all of a sudden convenient to carry around.

What are your plans/thoughts for winter vaping?

OMG, this will be my first winter! So you're right, Xenogy, we gotta think about this. Maybe get some pumpkin and apple flavors going. Candy cane. Freeze resistant batteries! Add a little extra EverClear to the juice, that should do it for antifreeze-flavored juice! Long as we're vaping anti-freeze! I do tend to use only tobacco flavors, though, maybe just bump up the flavor a bit.
I'm in SW Wisconsin, this has been the coldest summer season ever, 50`F. right now, so can hardly wait to see what winter will be like. I do hate winter.<(that means 'cool')

I think I'll try some stronger juice in the winter months. Maybe a 24mg coffee or chocolate.

There's seasonal beers, so why not seasonal juices?

I'll probably stick with my 510's, possibly look into a Janty stick.

Living in Michigan, I'll have plenty of time to experiment with different PV/juice combos since we get at least 5 months of brutal weather.

Being new, I'm sure not smoking will affect my taste buds a lot more than the ambient temp. Right now, I've found a mixture of coffee and vanilla flavors and the apple (which to me tastes like unsweetened apple juice) from widows beads are great. Plan on continuing trying new flavors though and going to try some of the lung renewal juice from Nhaler.

Capella has a good eggnog flavor. Buy some unflavored nic juice and some Capella drops. Be warned though, when you look at Cappela's site you will find a lot more flavors that you will want to order and they are YUMMY! Thankfully one bottle will flavor a lot of juice and they have a couple of coupon codes (BUY5 gets you 7 for the price of 5 and BUY7 gets you 10 for the price of 7).

Do I get the 20 points now or do they come in the mail :).

Actually I was thinking along the line of seasonal beers instead of holiday tastes. In the summer I drink lager - medium ales. Come winter time when beer taste the best I like dark ale - oatmeal stout range. But then wiskey taste great all year.

I'm not a fan of eggnog but I was thinking a chai juice might be pretty good.

I have a 30ml bottle of DeKang Rum I got a little while ago. It's ok. Just too sweet to me and doesn't have the alcohol taste I was hoping for.

A bit of research came out of the lab today -- my friend who owes me a huge favor is doing some tests on niquid. We know it doesn't freeze at 0 F (-13 C). So he tossed it in the cryro to see where it does freeze.

Minnesotans, Wisconsinites and Michiganers are likely to be fine. Niquid freezes at -55F. (As expected for a solution that is 60% PG.) It also appears to be unaffected by freezing -- the nicotine doesn't seem to be harmed or diminished.

I'm looking forward to cranberry liquid.
