Now, that's out of my system. I have now managed to be present at the deaths of TWO passthroughs. I don't think I actually killed them, now, however. I think the battery short-circuits. About ten minutes before pronouncing it dead, it wouldn't stop heating. I took it apart (okay, unplugged battery from cable, unscrewed atomizer from battery) and checked it for liquid (though I haven't made that mistake since my first week, it was dry), let it cool down and reassembled. Yep. Dead.
That's what happened last time, too. That says the batteries in this version aren't meant to be permanent and need to be replaced, but nobody sells the batteries alone. I've gotten a whole 22 days out of these things. Not a great ROI, in my opinion.
