Second hand nicotine

I vape in the house both here at home and over at my sis's. I did ask if anyone minded as they are not my own home, dad asked to see it and when he noticed my mother had no issues with it (she's allergic to cigarette smoke) and it doesn't stink he said he didn't mind as long as mom didn't develop any problems with it. My sis said she was fine with it as well since it doesn't seem to bother anyone's allergies and doesn't stink. Everyone knows if it starts to bother them then let me know and I'll gladly take it outside.

However, I don't vape when I'm visiting my "adopted" gram out of respect for her then again I didn't smoke in front of her either. She knows I was smoking and I've told her I'm quitting and discussed vaping with her so I'm not hiding it but she said she'd rather not see me doing it if I didn't mind.

The bottom line is that second-hand vapor is very likely just about harmless.
And air fresheners and scented candles are maybe not so much.

This is based on information provided by a member of this forum who doesn't say anything unless she knows exactly what she's talking about.

If you Google "safety of air fresheners" or "safety of scented candles" you will find plenty of information to keep you interested.
But really, when you look at the chemical makeup of vapor versus air fresheners, it kinda seems obvious.

If a person is vaping high PG% eliquid I'd venture to say it is better for the air quality in a given area then a candle that is on fire.

PG is used as a sanitizing agent in hospitals and laboratories! It has anti microbial properties.

As for second-hand nicotine, those around us should be so lucky.

If they were actually getting any second-hand nicotine, they might experience some of it's many benefits...
--Improved memory
--Improved concentration
--Improved focus and attention
--Possibility of avoiding Alzheimers
--Possibility of avoiding Parkinsons

Unfortunately for those around us, there really isn't enough nicotine in second-hand vapor to count for much of anything.
