I am a new vapor and I feel blessed that I found the endless possibilities of vaping. A friend of mine came up to visit and introduced me. I live in small town GA and the blu brand is all thats available for at least 100 mile radius. I bought my first starter kit (titan 510) from totallywickedeliquid.com about a year ago. My friend lives in Florida where vaping stores are all over and his choice was TWEL. Anyway, I could never get used to the small 510 it was like smoking air and I just went back to analogs. Well last month I came across my kit and realized that he left his ecig (tornado t) in my box. I started using it, just as a trial type thing and I fell in love with it.

Did it really help you get off of actual cigarettes? I had quit cold turkey for 13 years and picked them back up again last year. I'm so mad at myself for doing that and I just can't seem to let go of them. I have to do something different.

Honestly, it helps more than anything! There are literally tons of success stories on here and you could likely be the next one if you give it a shot. I'm not saying that there is no effort at all, but if you quit for 13 years you should have no problem quitting again, this time with vaping. Vaping helps immensely with the cravings and has allowed me to be smoke-free, while at the same time providing me with a fun hobby (frustrating at times) and a great support community here.

Yes yes yes! I really just tried it and didn't intend on giving up smoking, my kids were begging me to quit. So I ordered some eliquid and a DCT to go with my friends battery and was just going vape when they were around, and smoke analogs when they are at school. Much to my surprise, I've had the same pack of analogs for 8 days now and still have some left.

That's awesome. I have been closet smoking from my kids because I initially quit before they were born. I never wanted them to see me smoke.

When I first wake up is when I want to smoke an analog, and I do. But the rest of the day, I don't even think about them, much less miss them. I've researched on the web quite a bit, and I've read that happens to a lot of people, but it will pass as well. There are tons of sites that have the ego battery and clearomizer starter kit with liquid for $20 or less. It's definitely worth it, you're going to spend that on a few packs of analogs ;-)

Thx! My BF has been analog and vaping for a while now and he's been trying to get me into it. Honestly, I just had a hard time wrapping my brain around inhaling banana nut bread. I'm a menthol girl and it jsut didn't compute.....lol I think I will have to try a menthol liquid, maybe that will win me over.

Lots of vendors with regular menthol.........as well you might look at some of the fruit & drink flavors that are "iced" or "frosted", which are the regular flavors with menthol added to give some variety.

Second of five?

Resistance is futile?

All I can tell you is I was a 30+ year smoker who'd been going through two packs a day for I don't remember how long and it's been months since I had a cigarette. In fact, it's been a while since I cared one way or the other about the things. I've just... lost interest.

Which is weird. I had given up on quitting. I had tried and failed so freaking many times, I had just given up.

Now I can't imagine going back...

Yep. I was "dual use" for at least a month. More around six weeks I think? That first one in the morning lasted a good month. Then, one day, sounded... kind of... nasty for first thing in the morning. So I vaped. And the "morning cig" sort of died a quiet death...

Thanks, the cravings are killing me. I keep telling myself I'm not buying another pack and then I crave and cave.

You hit the right combo of device and liquid, you'll be stunned. And I say, "right combo" because not everybody finds exactly the set up that works best for them right away. Sometimes, takes some experimenting and trying different things.

But I can say that I remember, from all those failed attempts to quit, those powerful, overwhelming, if not nightmarish cravings. Compared to those times, switching over to vaping was a cakewalk. Wasn't without some "bumps" along the way but compared to every other "quit" attempt? Compared to those, this was easy.

Weirdly easy. Sometimes I still feel like I'm having some long, weird dream. :)

I'm sure I'm still "hooked" on nicotine and if you took my vapor stuff away, I'd have some pretty amazing cravings. But at least I've escaped repeatedly inhaling toxic chemicals to get my nicotine. Heh, can't beat the flavors either. Cigs are... menthol and not menthol. I'm vaping wintergreen now. Just switched from blueberry. :)

Its only been two weeks of vaping for me and so far havent been craving a cigarette since, but i do feel like ive been vaping nonstop all day through out the whole day everyday since. Im just wondering if anyone has ever really felt more healthy from quitting smoking cigarettes after switching to vaping, i know its only been two weeks for me but i feel exactly the same as i did before.

I feel much better. If nothing else, I sleep better than I have in years.

Two weeks isn't much. Give it time...
