the word is out.
abso(censored)lutly not.
5000 times less toxins less than cigarette
smoke.barely detectable from background
contaminants in ambient air.
any toxins that are found are so far below
accepted daily exposure rates as to of no
health concern what so ever.

Can the exhaled vapor affect others like secondhand smoke dose? I have a daughter and don't vape around her but just curious if it could affect another person like cigarette smoke can.
It truly is sad that the myth (lie) about second hand smoke and the fact that vapor looks a bit like smoke is causing some folks to question the safety of the vapor. I have a feeling that if honest studies were done they would even find some good in the vapor and not a single thing that is detrimental to anyone's health.

I have been vaping for going on 4 years now and have not had a single cold, not even the sniffles, during all that time. That wouldn't be the case if I were still smoking.

Both VG and PG have antibacterial qualities. I understand that PG is used in hospital air exchangers because of its antibacterial qualities. I have read that some folks enjoy filling their room/car with so much vapor that their view is impaired. I wouldn't want to do something like that around anyone, child or adult, but only because I think the odors would be overwhelming. I don't blow huge cloud and wouldn't want to be in a room filled with it but I don't think there is any harm in the vapor.

The only reason I ask is because when you inhale, there's nicotine in it. I was thinking that since I absorb the nicotine through the vapor that it could be possible for another person to do the same through second hand means. My daughter thinks it's so neat to play in the cloud but I tell her no since I don't know if it could harm her.

Some guy named Todd said it on YouTube so it must be true...

I prefer to get my information from actual scientific studies. But that's just me.

There are no "actual scientific studies".
No peer reviewed research stating either way, no long term research at all.
It's only a guess either way right now.

With "friends" like the two of you, why do we need enemies?

I am honestly at a loss as to why either of you are even here.....besides arguing the opposite point of every issue there is.

There are several studies, some of them quite recent, to back up our claims in regards to second hand vapor being completely harmless.

CASAA.ORG is a great place for anyone, new vaper and veteran alike, to find info on studies regarding vaping.

Beyond that, I have vaped right beside people, many of them non-smokers, and NOT once have I had an adverse reaction from any of them.

If people comment at all, many of them congratulate me for quitting smoking and then discuss how pleasant my vapor smells.

Some guy named Todd had a video about this. Some can well be affected by second hand vapor...
no they can not period.
its the old but what if someone is allergic or sensitive
and has a reaction to the vape argument.
to date it hasn't happened, isn't happening and is
totally unlikely to happen,ever.
its virtually impossible.
no blue babies or choking grandma's in the cereal isle.

Are you saying Todd lied about someone else being affected and himself being affected by nicotine in a room full of vapers? I think there is a curse word so can't post the video...
What happens to everything in e-cig 'vapor'? It miraculously disappears when exhaled?

its rather hard to have long term peer reviewed studies
of anything when there is no base of affected
individuals to draw conclusions from.
