what a difference a vendor makes. I found out that E Liquid Planet has a brick and mortar store 8 miles away from me in Levittown. I stopped in and got a bottle of watermelon from their essence line, since I ordered what i was originally looking for from FuZion. Let me tell you, it is exquisite. It tastes like the name. No chemical or plastic taste They had no prob letting me know it was 60/40. smooth and vaporous with a nice throat hit. Im psyched they are so close.
i have 5 bottles of 15 mil and 5 bottles of 5 mil i may just be tossing because they just do not compare.
I also upgraded from a ego 650 to a Vision Spinner 1300. what a difference that makes as well. I'm hooked like a crack head.

I DIY my personal juice and my secret PG/VG ratio is calculated like this

Multiply the current Powerball value by the number of analog cigarettes avoided since quitting them, divide by the number of people who have died from lung cancer (this needs to be an exact value that is current at the time of mixing) add the number of cigarettes that they smoked in their life time, divide by the amount of dollars saved by everyone in the world who has switched to vaping to quit cigarettes (this needs to include health care costs possibly avoided)

And then when my head is about to explode I mix it at 70/30. OH NO! now every one knows my secret ratio.

as multiple people have already posted vendors that refuse to tell you need to be told told thank you, I understand you don't want to tell me but I guess I will be ordering from a company that will tell me the pg/vg ratio

my :2c:

Just a quick hiya to y'all. First post here. I am new to the forum but not new to e-cig.

Back to the topic. I am of the opinion that as a consumer I have the right to know what and how much I am inhaling. I think it's wrong for juice makers to deny me this info.

And it is a bad move for the industry over all. One of the more often cited criticism from the anti-e-cigarette people is the lacking of product information such as juice ingredients. This has become one of many prominent talking points for these people. With juice makers refusing to disclose even the PG/VG ratio, it will only give the anti-e-cigarette people more ammunition.

It is not a matter of "if" but a matter of "when" that some forms of government regulations on e-cigarettes will materialize in the future. When that happens, it is highly likely that juice makers will have to disclose more than just PG/VG ratio to the consumers.

I have a friend that is allergic to PG, so she can't smoke it. While they did state the ratio after an email, I can see a lot of consumers going to a store that either states it right off the bat or allows the buyer to choose. What if I email and don't get a response until a few days later? I'm kind of an impatient person, and when I want to order something, I want to order it then! hahahaha It's hard enough waiting for shipping!

To answer your question though: if it made you feel uncomfortable, don't buy from them. Period. I can appreciate that they did disclose what you asked about, but there are plenty of vendors out there that are reliable, up-front, and probably won't make you feel uncomfortable. Your choices are not limited, so don't feel compelled to stay with one vendor.

Thanks so much for sharing this with the rest of us too! I know that it allows me to make more informed decisions about my eliquid choices.

hello all,
So i was just had some email correspondence with the gentleman over at theecig.com, I'll spare you from the whole story but i did ask what their juices are, PG,VG or a mix. If a mix what ratio.
He asked what flavor i was reffering to. I cave him two on opposite sides of the spectrum. Banana was real throaty and cake batter was real smooth. he told me 100% PG and 100% VG respectively.
I thanked him and suggested that the ratios be stated on the web site at time of purchase. His response was
"We would like to keep our ratios secret because other vendors will steal our mixtures.I hope that helps"

My question is, is this normal or should i feel sketched out about a propitiatory mixture. I know some sites let you pick the ratio.
Im new btw and i have found a wealth of information on here and feel I am actually not as overwhelmed so thank you all for that
No analogs since 5/10/13

My opinion is I don't trust anybody that won't tell me what's in the stuff I buy. I went that route. I called them "cigarettes". Turned out, they were packed full of deadly chemicals.

And, come on, PG/VG ratios are part of some super secret recipe? Really? That just strikes me as about as silly as it gets...

Be wear if you buy something from high desert vapes, and if it don't work properly, and if you let them know about it they wont care if you wasted your money on something that isn't working the way its supposed to, they wont turn around and make it right for you. This is the second time this has happened. i am going to stop recommending people to them. i did not want nothing for free from them. i just wanted them to fix them problem and i was just blown off as if they dont value their customers a big wast of 65 buks.

I went with word up e-cigs, great products and good customer service.

You're not supposed to smoke PG, you are supposed to vape it! ;)

I don't buy from a vendor, that doesn't at least publish the PG/VG. In addition, I don't like buying juices from vendors that are getting their supplies other than USA. I don't trust guys, that put poison in kids toys!

This. They have every right to want to keep their ratios secret, and you have every right to shop with a vendor that gives you the best level of service, quality of product, and affordability that you can find.

On the other hand, unless you have a sensitivity to PG, this shouldn't be a dealbreaker if you're looking at a "gourmet" juice like Mad Murdoch's Radiator Pluid or Alice in Vapeland's White Rabbit.

PS I'm still a noob, so if that seems idiotic in any way, forgive me!
