Hi guys. Doing well so far with my Halo gear and have nearly clocked up 2 months! I'm super happy about it too.
I see everyone raves about Mt Baker e-liquids so I'm gunna give them a go (are they that good?) even though I'm reasonably happy with the Halo liquids.
I see they have options on ratios of PG/VG.
Can anyone help with what should I be ordering please??
Thanks in advance.

I like Mt. Baker. Their juices are tasty and they ship fast. They also have several options, like extra flavor shots and pretty much any mix ratio of PG/VG.

Here's a good article on PG vs. VG. It goes into detail and explains a lot.

Personally, I like a higher VG content, so I go with 20/80 PG to VG ratio (I may start ordering max VG, in fact). Also, with regard to extra shots of flavoring, I wouldn't go higher than one extra shot for your first order. That way, you can gauge whether or not you want more or less the next time. I went with three extra shots this time, and tried some new flavors, but a few of them are too strong for my taste, so I'll be lowering the extra flavor shots (to only two shots) on those next time.

Also, remember that Mt. Baker mixes the juice when you order it, so you're going to want to steep most of the flavors for at least a week (the recommended steep time is actually two weeks for all juices other than tobacco flavors, which require four weeks). Here's Mt. Bakers FAQ. Scroll down to "What is steeping? How long should I steep for?". Also, here's a video on steeping. It has good info. (Sorry if you already know all this stuff. I figured I'd include it just in case you didn't.)

Have fun!

I order from MT Baker all the time. My favorite from them is the Thug Juice which has a fruity taste and is what I smoke the most. I tried various PG/VG levels. The 50/50 worked good for me when I was using the Halo gear to vape with. I also like the Hawk sauce... For me, i order the 15 ml bottles with two extra flavor shots. You will have to experiment with different levels to find your flavor levels. You might want to order the smallest bottles and try the flavors. I have tried a few different that I really didn't like and ended up throwing them away.

I am currently using a Nautilus Mini BVC. I have discovered that the mini is better with thicker juice for my vaping habits.

Just remember to steep the juice like the previous post suggested. Happy Vaping....

If you are used to Halo liquids and like the throat hit / vapor combination, I would suggest something like a 60/40 or a 70/30 mix (PG/VG).

It's something that is a personal preference mostly. Some do have sensitivities to PG or VG and so order specific blends, others have no such constraints and just order what they prefer regarding throat hit, flavor or vapor production.

Usually more PG will increase throat hit slightly and provide a little more flavor. Higher VG will give more vapor, a little sweetness and slightly less flavor.

When I first started vaping I bought e-liquid in the same strengths at different ratios so I could understand the differences between them.

With MBV prices, you can probably afford to find a flavor you like and purchase them in different ratios so you can see if that makes a difference in your vaping preference.
