Hey everyone. I really want to get started on the manufacture of a USA made PV... If anyone has any idea about a good place to get started looking, or even better- is into manufacturing themselves, I would love some advice. If you're an engineer with the right contacts, then we might just be able to do some business :)

I can't see how you can beat the Chinese for the mfg costs of the atty & batteries. The automatic batteries actually have a sophisticated microcontroller that is pretty smart and intricate assembly. The atty are small hand manual work (?).

But if you used manual battery design and chinese atty, it seems like it would be not too difficult to mfg.

The real issue I see is getting juice, which should blow your business plan to hell.

This really all depends on your development budget. You could go the route of manufacturing a glorified battery pack that accommodates your standard selection of atomizers, or you could really innovate. Say something like an ultrasonic atomizer, perhaps design a better cartridge system, give more precision to nic doses etc.

Atomizers and carts seem to be the parts of the ecig that cause the most frustration, and any big steps improving these components would do quite well in the ecig market.
