I'll be flying out to Texas in a few days to spend Christmas with my girlfriend and her family. Obviously, I plan on vaping while I'm there.

I am, however, concerned that my Provari with its pretty li'l blue tankful of e-liquid is going to freak some TSA agent the hell out. I'm imagining frisking and X-rays and probes into random orifices. Not a good kind of probing, either. They're usually totally unromantic about that kind of thing.

Is this even a legitimate concern? Anything I can do to make sure the whole process goes smoothly and nobody thinks I'm trying to blow up the plane?

cags--did a quick search and couldn't find the answer. Thought I'd look there before I asked, but I wanted to know how you linked that forum in your post?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I went to the forum and copied the url. then came back here. right above where you type (your message) in the box there are icons. click the one that looks like earth (between the smiley face and the envelope). a box will come up and you paste the url in that and it will appear as mine did.
was that understandable?
sorry for drifting op!

I did some travelling a couple months ago with a ProVari, eGo-T Mod, and a couple KR808's without any issue. I read in several places that you should be fine, just don't try to hide it and explain what they are if asked (and that TSA workers are pretty familiar with ecigs). I had planned on doing just that by putting them in the bin with my other electronics, but forgot to remove them from my carry-on. No issues at all. On the way home I did remove them from my luggage and TSA didn't even give them a second glance.

Side note: From various articles I've read, it is actually illegal to use them on most airlines.

Edit: Also should have mentioned that your batteries should be in your carry-on and not in checked luggage. Something about no pressurization or temperature regulation in cargo holds.
