seems like i was lied to about my order being shipped wednesday

I placed an order with PS on Monday night. Thursday came around and I had heard nothing and PS website said my order was still in processing, so I sent a ticket to them asking for info on when this would ship. Casey got back to me within a half hour and told me that my order had shipped on Wednesday and she didn't know why the website info hadn't been updated. Friday's mail had no PS package so I sent another ticket asking for my tracking info. I never heard back from anyone. Today's mail came and STILL no package. I sent another ticket asking for tracking info and haven't heard back.

Just a few minutes ago I received a shipping confirmation from PS saying my order has shipped, so I went to PS website to check for tracking. The website says that my order shipped TODAY, so giving the benefit of the doubt that maybe I wasn't lied to on Thursday about my order being shipped on Wednesday, I went to USPS and plugged in my tracking number and lo and behold it comes up with NO INFO ON THE PACKAGE AT ALL. So, it appears that I was lied to and have been waiting for a package that was never coming this week.

I have no problem waiting for my orders BUT I DO have a problem with being lied to. I was one of the people who got bottles of the bad batches of juice in late March (it was my first order from PS) and I still decided to give them another shot and this is what I get.

KIds It may be a good time to take a break before this thread gets a little over the top, Mr OP, I would like to say, that your Headline of that PS LIED to YOU, could be a bit extreme and you do sound a little childish, I appreciate your dispointment and frustration, however, to slam a well known and credible supplier, w/o giving anyone the benefit of the doubt, just seems extreme, I am not wanting you to feel uncomfortable, but you have only a few posts listed by your name, therefore I can only think that you have not been around very long?? if I am wrong, OH WELL
I just think it is inappropriate to be so harmful and almost hateful ,,so early in the game, We/ I think you would want to make friends here and not create a difficult name for yourself, I think it is the withdrawel of the analogs thats making you so antsy

I'm sorry, Implications are a rarity with any supplier but does happen. No matter who the supplier is. There are 100 factors in play when ordering from anyone not to mention Computer glitches. Its not something that should take personally. Alot of us had our fair share of mishaps in the e-cig world. Most of the times supplier get swamped w/ so much business, news, and updates that catching up seems like a pipe dream, almost all suppliers work around the clock everyday to meet needs of hundreds of others. On the bright side, you know that your order is found and is coming to you soon.

doesn't sound to me like you appreciate anything from the OP.. niether thier frustration nor dissapointment. the title of the thread doesn't seem too wrong to me. IF what OP states is true.. then yeah... they got lied to.. be it purposely or not. im a firm believer in PS and thier ability to rectify customer service issues.. i'm also VERY sure that steve and company are quite capable of defending himself/themselves.. but.. i see YOUR post count and i notice YOU haven't been very active yourself.. so i'll forgive your conclusion jumping.

as to geekette.. in all fairness.. Puresmoker's been being run through the mill lately... and while you have every right in the world to be angry/upset/homicidal.. if you REALLY needed to say something it would have been a better choice to say it BEFORE the product shipped.. im not trying to admonish you.. not belittle.. anything of the sort.. simply trying to point out a very small piece of ettiquette. basically.. i think it may have been more of a miscommunication than an outright lie.. and for sake of politeness.. maybe you should be happy it actually shipped now instead of harping on PS. accidents occur.. it's just a fact of life.. and when you have a supplier that is as popular as PS they start occuring more frequently.. and when you throw in problems with customs siezing shipments.. it just gets worse and worse.. now add that because of stopped product they have gone out of the way to secure a locally made ecig that they can guarantee stock of.. again.. more mistakes.. be well.. be happy.. and enjoy your product when it hits your door most likely monday or tuesday

cocisan- i was not trying to be hateful or slam PS.

this forum is not just for glorifying suppliers, i am sorry, but it seems as if every time someone has a problem with a supplier and they post it, they immediately get "slammed" by everyone who loves the supplier, like it's the buyers fault in some way. if i had gotten a response to my inquiries about my tracking info, this never would have been posted. i see nothing childish about my reporting my experience with a business and how they handled my customer support issue.

i could not post about this before it shipped because as of a couple of minutes before i posted this thread i was still under the assumption that my order had shipped on wednesday and i had tried for 2 days (friday and today) to ask for my tracking info from PS without getting a single reply from them, in fact, i still have 2 open tickets with them where i asked for tracking.
so with being told it shipped wednesday and not getting an answer back to get my tracking inquiry for 2 days and then to get a confirmation telling me it just shipped today...well, it was upsetting. they could have told me on friday when i sent the 2nd ticket to them that there had been a mistake, they could have replied with some kind of answer..but they did not reply at all to the 2nd or the 3rd time i contacted them, so i do not feel as if i was being rude just for the sake of being rude.

well geekette.. the good news is it has shipped

and as to my stating about posting before it confirmed shipping.. hey.. it's a small piece of etiquette.. follow it or not.. that's up to you.. being a fanboy of NONE my suggestion was simply to give you the info and let you come to your own conclusions.. as stated before.. glad it's been sorted.. and try not to be too angry about what was probably a sincere mistake.. there's ALOT of them to be had around here (ie ALL suppliers) and carrying anger around for each one could become a heavy burdon for you REALLY soon LOL

happy vaping... oh.. and i dunno if anybody else has caught it yet.. so..

Hey First all it is, is a matter of choice of words, "LIED TOO' in the heading, it comes across to slam.............................period, nothing more, nothing less

as far as my post count, I generally post, when I feel I have something MEANINGFUL TO SAY. NOT JUST TO POST FOR THE SAKE OF POST COUNT,
so If I came across to hard in defense, it is only a matter of using words in a way, that can be useful and to contribute, not just to get our attention

I believe that the OP did the right thing and posted correctly. Puresmoker has not been living "up" to thier reputation latley. I have been a Puresmoker customer since February, and since then watching thier forum here have seen nothing but problem upon problem with orders, slow reponces, and the biggest excuse being "with 500+ orders" etc.etc.etc.. If your out of stock on everything, a little hard to have all these orders???

I myself am done with Puresmoker. I orderd some Juice on thier clearance sale, like 30mg of low cola, and what i got was two 10mg bottles with a short note saying "out of cola 30mg, substituted for two 10mg, whitch is the same price".:confused: 10mg+10mg=20mg, not 30mg like i orderd. As far as i am concerned i'm still short 10MG , but i will shop elswhere for this stuff as the other suppliers appear to be more "reponsive" in thier customer service.

I belive the proper responce would have been to email me to give me the option of taking the 2 10mg bottles or canceling the order completely or sending me 3 10mg bottles to fulfill my order. Just another example of thier "Reputation" which appears to be 72 hr time or longer before shipping..........:(:(:(

I am not posting my experience to be rectified, i'm posting as another example of service from this company, call it Bashing if you will.

1. The web software isn't controlled by USPS shipping, and USPS shipping isn't controlled by the web software. Just because the web software doesn't say it shipped, doesn't mean they didn't ship it. Chances are, somebody shipped it and then forgot to hit a Submit button... it happens.

2. USPS tracking is completely useless, and it's a joke that they call it "tracking" because 95% of the time it doesn't do any tracking at all. I get stuff shipped USPS quite often, and it almost never says anything about the shipment at all until after I've received it, and then it says "shipment delivered" or something like that... as if I didn't know. UPS tracking, on the other hand, is really good although they are usually slower and more expensive.

3. USPS Priority Mail is typically 2-3 days within the continental US, but it isn't guaranteed, and can take up to 5 days depending on where you're at in relation to the shipper.

That is true but the problum was actully getting the tracking number in the first place. And USPS does tell you when they have been notified that a package is coming (if the shipper uses the web to print off shipping) So no tracking number it hasn't been sent yet...


Thank you blueeyekelly, you seem to understand what I'm talking about..I wasn't concerned about "tracking" it, it was all about when it was shipped.
I am co-owner of a business so I know how all of this works.
I use USPS all the time to ship packages so I am well aware that they are not real time when it comes to tracking the package...BUT, when a label is made, the info DOES come up to let you know that a package is to be expected for shipping with the date the label was made. My info is showing on USPS that they were notified electronically of my package (meaning the label was created) on MAY 9th, so it was sent out yesterday and not Wednesday like I was told.

I'm not sure what expectations people have. It's funny to see that some feel compelled to publicly complain on the suppliers own forum about orders taking a week to get to them. Have I missed something? I thought a week was about average shipping time in the business world. I know we're dealing with nicotine and we need it more than shamwow, but geeze, give these guys a break. This isn't Walmart.
