Anyone else's screen a little off axis on theirs? Mine is at a slight angle. Not a big deal. The device itself works great. So far I've only had a Vamo to compare it to.

It seems ALL of the sigelei ZMAX unit has angled screens... I don't think I've seen anyone say that theirs is straight... It's the only thing that cheapens the seemingly overall build quality of the unit..

I just got mine this week and it seems like a really good piece of kit.

I totally agree, The build quality seems very good. Very slight angle but barely noticeable but there, but no big deal at all. I just got mine today but from what I gather flat top 18350 will reset unit on mine when I dropped in my pants pocket, but I stretched the spring and seems okay for now. Does anyone else notice the screen lettering becoming jumbled up a little? Maybe cuz my battery wasn't making good contact? I'll see if it happens again. Overall a great buy from ElectonicStix.com I'd say. Great deal for my very first VW device!!

Flat top 18350 did not fit reliably in my Sigelei Vmax Telescopic flat top. Some stretching of the battery spring is required to correct this. Larger flat tops work fine right up to 18650 without adjusting the spring

I turn off power (menu item #1) before changing out batteries. It takes a minute or two after changing out a battery before this Sigelei will fire up again. It needs time to update battery voltage parameters, etc. while booting up.

That boot up time can be as long as five minutes if the battery is disconnected while the Sigelei Zmax is powered up. Same thing if the battery fit is too loose while power is on and contact with the battery is intermittent.

There should be a moratorium for a set number of days on reviews/reactions to newly purchased gear. I would say like a week. This way all the rush of endorphin's and other positive postpartum hormones and emotions don't skew thread readers into making hasty purchases. After a week, cooler heads can write their reactions to recently purchased gear = and then readers can base a purchasing decision on that. I have been blown away buy gear or an ejuice at first only to recant a few days later. If I had told others about my initial evaluation and they went out and dropped $ on it = only to experience my disenchantment as well ... oops.

My head is cool enough that I can give an unvarnished opinion of a new APV even on the first day. I've got a built-in filter for emotional, non-factual reactions to new gear and know how to use it when I make a post. I hope you do, as well.

I'll hit the 168-hour with the Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic (flat top) on Monday afternoon and will post a summary here just for you and anyone else who wants to read it. Feel free to compare it with any of my earlier posts regarding this Sigelei. Hope you aren't disappointed.

Day 3 and I'm loving this flat top SZT more and more each day. You go yzer, 3 year vapor here with plenty of experience and I would like to think that I know when I like a device right off the bat. No hormones here just pure postpartum vaping pleasure. This is the fruit of months upon months of research. Take care ya'll

Well I've had my flat top version for around 3, closing in on 4 weeks now and am loving it aside from after week 1 i developed lines in the screen under the numbers/letters but it still works flawlessly. i also own an eVic, which sometimes can't produce vapor on a gunked up tank, if i throw it on the flat top for a few vapes its good to go on my eVic. Not to knock my flat top, but i keep it for home use, pure power, strong function, build and design. To be honest, if it were more pick up and go set up like the eVic (not having to constantly power off, displayed tank temp, etc) I'd take it everywhere with me. As of lately though, I've found myself vaping less and less during the day when i have my eVic in my pocket, and more when I return home to my Sigelei.

Currently to completely turn off power I just simply unscrew the bottom screw most of the time, depending on the situation(if I will be using it soon or not). I do like the look of it with a 18350 battery in it rather than a 18650. Though it does seem to run through power on the 18350s ALOT faster than my 18650s, despite size and numbers(doubling up 18350s).

All in all I like it, it's a nice simple designed power house mod, half the price of a certain Luved brand, if they made a version more pick up and go friendly I'd carry it EVERWHERE, my 2 cents after 3 full weeks of use.

I just got a new one, was working great along side my Evic, and suddenly, now there's no display. It WAS vaping still at the 7.5 watts I set it at initially, but after a couple of battery switches, I think it's set at 3.0 volts now. It WILL show "Segelei" when I initially put in a battery, but that's it.

Any tips/tricks to get my options back?

What battery are you using? I was using a efest flat top 18350 on day one and I had a simpler issue blank screen but still vaping then turned off I stretched my spring popped the battery back in and touch wood had no more issues I'm on day 2 now lol.

EDIT I also had some type of screen corruption but since I stretched my spring no more issues.

Does it display any of the options when you cycle through them? There is a display off option that you may have turned off by accident. If that isn't it I'd send it back for a replacement if I were you.

Update:
I found it would come back if I removed and put the battery back in AND did 5 button taps after seeing "Sigelei" scroll across. See all the menus and everything. However, I'll come back and it's off again. Sometimes I can still vape with no display, but eventually it stops and I have to start the process all over again.

Using Panasonic IMR batteries btw
