So after 3 months of vaping on my Joye510, it's time to treat myself to something much nicer with more voltage and battery life. So here's what I'm looking at after spending the last day or so looking through all the different mods I could find.

Prodigy v3 (3.7)
Xhaler (unsure of voltage)

In looking at the video reviews, both get good reviews sans a few minor issues which are not important to me. What I really want is good vapor production coupled with a long battery life with something that doesn't look like I'm sucking on a pipe bomb. I am leaning more towards the Prodigy because of the bottom locking button and that it can use my 501 atty's I already have.

I'm also thinking of some sort of tank as well which I would appreciate guidance on. I've got a friend using the MAP tank that he seems to like but doesn't like having to stick with one juice for that long. I've looked into the clearomizers but seems there are lots of issues with cracking and breaking.

I'd love to hear what all the die hard American made mod users have to say here...

For what it's worth, I've been vaping @ 3 mos and also decided to get a MOD, (bottom feeder - Box) I also had a veteran Vapor assist me. My choice was a 3.7/6volt ALI'i from R&R manufacturing. I ordered min on 3/11 and the wait post order is long @ 6-8 weeks. R&R is a registered supplier on ECF if you want more info just go into the supplier forum.

Under the main menu bar you can browse by features. Extremely handy. I bought a Phidias for out and about, but I would like a VV for home use so I can change juices easier, but there are so many worthy choices.

I can't make up my mind. If someone wants to pimp their favorite and push me over the fence you are certainly welcome to.

The v3.1 is a fine 3.7/6v device, the provari is also, both are well made and work every time. The SuperT P18650 or P16340 are both great,
The SuperT line is the rolex of the tube type pv's.The REO grand is a great bottom fed box made from 1 block of aluminum, almost indestructable,if you could stand a box.200$ for a quality mod is not that bad considering that 200$ won't even buy 1 month's worth of cigarettes.

Get a ProVari to go with your MapTank and never look back!

I have had a Provari for one week and it is great. However, a bottom feeding mod that is multiple voltage would fill a niche. I can smoke at work but don't have time to drip cartos or syringe replenishment during work. Therefore I have genuine interest in what is being attempted here. I am a carto man all the way. I need massive flow of e-juice because I am a vaping junkie when at work. So far there is no such product on the market to fill my requirement without hiccups based on Grimm Green reviews.

Please correct me if I am wrong and point me to a vendor.

Thanks for this guys. I'm just not a heavy vaper (1ml or less per day) so don't need something that produces huge clouds or saves heaps of time. Just looking more for battery life and higher voltage than the 510 that I've used for the last 3 months.

That all being said, I think I've settled on the Silver Bullet. Just need to get paid so I can get it ordered.

Well during our VapeMeet last night at ElectronicStix shop, I let temptation get hold and picked up a mod. I played around with the 'Don', the Tek and a few others that they had in the case as well as some that the guys had with them. After all the testing and retesting along with a big internal battle on what to get, I picked up the Tek. It had lots of features that appealed to my inner geek and even though I'm not a fan of box mods, it didn't feel like one to me.

I'm also using it with a gooseneck and a MAP tank and wow'wee! It hits awesome and just can't say enough good things about it. I did get in a bit of trouble with the wife for buying it but it'll pass. This is something that will last me for the next few years without any BS that the little 510's caused me. For anyone interested, you can find them here: 5 Volt TEKK MOD V2.0 They are currently out of stock (I bought the last one!) but he has heaps more that are going to be modded soon so be patient if you want them.
