I'm a new owner of the evic, it has been a great mod thus far. I don't vape over 8 watts so the power restriction does not affect me. But if there was one item to complain about, it has to be the selector ring and how it feels like plastic and cheap. Doesn't help that's its super loose. I ordered Siam mod tubes for it so the rest of the body is solved. I was wondering if anyone has thought about some how machining a new ring for it. I saw some threads of taking the control unit apart so it is doable. Just need someone to produce them.

The selector ring is actually pretty sturdy. The switch it operates is the flimsy part. It flips a very small wedge shaped gear headed switch back and forth inside of a mechanism with a potentiometer style gear inside it. The switch is held in place by a very fragile plastic pin. I'd take higher quality board components over a new tube any day. Also the button is poorly crafted as well.
