Cig free for almost 60 days, woo hoo!
Started out with basic Ego's. Then moved up to Ego Twist. Bought my first Spinner this evening from Discount Vapers. It's a pretty colored one! What do you guys think of this? Any good? My first battery venture that isn't an Ego.

vaping on it right now :)
Love it - the only downside is that it gets fingerprinty real fast. No biggie IMHO.

I actually like it better that my Ego Twists. It last me 10 - 12 hours and is the same length than my 900mah ego (which lasted me about 7 - 8 hours), just slightly thicker.

The VV dial on the end is much better too. Easier to turn and see what voltage you're at.

Congrats on 2 months!!!

I've never been on the "pretty" side of vaping...:p...but 1300 mah, and VV sounds great!!
Should be enough to last almost all day, of normal vaping, but always carry a spare, egos still aren't available at 7-11.

I've never been on the "pretty side" before. And I'm usually a practical person...buy things only for function not for aesthetics. But I thought this was a pretty good price and was the same price as all the other 1300 mah vv batteries, so what the heck! And no worries, I still have 2 regular Egos, 1 at 650mah 1 at 900 mah and then my Ego Twist at 600 mah. So, that is 3 extras that I will have in rotation.

I notice that I have a couple of juices that still taste awesome on my regular egos...no higher voltage needed, so I will use those juices on those batteries. Don't want to wear my good ones out any faster than I have to. :)

Good to know that the VV dial is easier to see...my eyes are terrible! And hooray...at 10-12 hours that might last me a couple of days worth of vaping. I barely vape when I'm at work anyway. :) Glad you like yours, can't wait to get mine!

Thanks! What do you mean by jumping ahead too far, too fast? Just curious. :)
Lately, there seems to be a trend (perhaps it's just my perception... and not a trend at all :)) of relatively new vapists starting with an eGo... and within a week or two, asking about mechanicals, RDAs and subohm coils. They don't know anything about measuring resistance or building coils, don't know the dangers... but that doesn't seem to be slowing them down much.

It's refreshing to see someone who's either not in a hurry, or quite content with what they have.

Yep....All I look for is consistency and quality. I definitely don't want to make this too much of a "hobby" and get into all the trinkets and whatever RDA's are. I did try my hand at rebuilding my own coils (nothing fancy! Just wanted to re-build my 2.2ohm kanger coils!) but that did NOT work out. But that's ok, because even though I failed at recoiling, I did learn that I do like my coils better when I take out the top wicks and replace them with my own wicks. And cleaning the whole thing out and then replacing my top wicks has helped me get more life out of my coils. So that's as far deep as I've gone.

Honestly, I have no interest in mechanical stuff and building stuff. I want things to be convenient, easy and fast. I ain't got time for that!

Love this quote!

I also am a newbie taking it slow. I started originally with the cigalikes and then when that was not working for me, I gave up for 3 years. Nearly 3 months ago now I bought a new kit with a 650 mah VV ego-style battery. I felt like I needed a backup battery so I ordered a 900 mah. I have learned to take out flavor wicks, clean and dry burn my coils and troubleshoot tank leaks and battery issues. Then I delved into trying juices for a while and learned about steeping. Now I have enough on hand ready for vaping and will place another large order when those are around 1/2 gone so the new can steep. I have 6 pyrex tanks to switch on my 2 batteries all day long! So I feel like I "got me kit sorted!"

Just got home from being out of town and charged up my new Spinner, and vaping on it right now. Paired that with my new all day juice that I found at a vape store when I was out of town and I'm pretty much in heaven right now!

Oh, and the juice is called "Serendipity" from a South Carolina based company called "IVape". It's a fruity flavor, but can't place it. Very complex and the most delicious juice I've had so far. :)

I love the Spinner. I'm excited about the 1300mah and having longer times between charges. And it's pretty. :)

That's a sweet looking APV you've got there! But I'm glad you mentioned the fingerprints lol!
I'm definitely one that looks for something pretty while looking for a good deal. Fingerprints are something that would drive me nuts! I'm constantly wiping my phone screen clean with the little cloth they give you when you get a cover lol. I have an eGo-K that amazingly doesn't show fingerprints, and a new Blow One that has a kind of matte hot pink coating, so no worries there lol.

Been using mine for 24 hours now, and the fingerprints are not a nuisance for me. It's pretty awesome. :)
