Twist or Spinner? And what about tanks?...

Hello everyone,

Hope you're all having fabulous days so far!

I have a few more questions... yes really! :)

New vaper ready to upgrade to a VV. Not up for the fancy Provari yet plus to be honest I really think I won't like the size of it. I'm using eGo's now and like the feel so I'm interested in either the eGo Twist or the Vision Spinner. I've read a few of the threads on this topic but so far the only difference I'm really seeing is that the voltage lines on the Spinner are easier to read than the twist. Is that really the only difference? Price wise it's like 2 bucks more for the Twist so hardly an issue!

Second question :)

I think I'd like to move away from stardust type clearo's. I think I'm ready for a tank system but omg there are so many choices that I'm not sure where to start. Some things I'd like...
Pyrex or glass, I have plastic taste issues
Slim so they look good on a 510 - capacity would be fine 1.6 to 3 ml
Easy to fill
Pretty, like some of the IBTanked hand painted ones. (Can't tell how this would look on a 510. I'm a girl, things need to "go together"!)
Not likely to leak!

Also, I'm still a little unclear on the difference between using a cartomizer with wicks vs. a cartomizer that has the stuffing that you saturate - why would one be better than the other and can you use either with a tank? I might even be interested in rebuild-able ones as I'm super NOT into throwing away plastic all the time.

Funny, seems like as I learn more I just end up with more questions! Thanks in advance for any advice and tips!

Happy vaping :vapor:

Hello! I have 2 1000mAh Twists (a black one and a red one). I have 3 IBTanks (clear tubes, due to price) with stainless steel caps (I have cinnamon issues) one set of regular steel and one set of black painted ones. (picture of the red below). Do you have a little 510 or an eGo?

I also have a polypro tank from Valley View Vapes. It works very well, although the cartos are harder to change than on the IBTanks. It's not very pretty either, but it isn't affected by juice and it's a little workhorse. It's also inexpensive.

I used regular stuffed cartos in the tanks (Smoktech is the IBTanks and Boge in the polypro). I've never tried the other kind.

Hello Ocelot :)

Thank you for that information! It's so helpful to have other users share their set-up info, especially with pictures! Nice kitty cat btw =^..^=

I have an eGo, just not the Twist. I've experimented in the local shop with the Twist and it really does seem to make a difference to taste and vapor production when you can change the voltage settings. Looks to me like it doesn't make too much difference between the Twist and the Vision Spinner other than personal preferences.

My local shop is great with Juices, they let you try everything but when it comes to hardware it's really limited. I think I'll just buy a few inexpensive tanks and different carto's to experiment with and see how it goes. Then if I find something I really like I can look for a "prettier" version of them. I like the idea of metal and glass/polypro - things that LAST make me happy :)

Thanks so much for your response... I'm heading to the "tanks" thread to get my head around all of that info!

If you just want to try a tank, check out Valley View Vapes: Triple V Polypro Tanks They aren't the prettiest, but you can't beat the price! They are fine with any juice. They also come with a carto already inside, so you just fill them up and go! Even though I love my glass tanks, I actually use the polypro more often, since it somehow got dedicated to my favorite juice. I have the jumbo 5ml one. It looks top heavy on my eGo, but no one sees it but me. I've come to think of it as a lollipop.
