I just applied for Social Security retirement yesterday. I'm 62 and partially disabled so I decided to get my money from the Govt. early. I paid in for many years so I'm not free-loading. This kinda depressed me and got me to thinking about ways to save money. NOBODY I've checked in the vape business seems to offer a senoir citizens' discount. Many people my age grew up smoking and now for health reasons or heavy taxes are looking for a way out of analog cigarettes. Perhaps Gotvapes could become an industry leader in helping seniors stop smoking and still have enjoyment by offering a special discount on top of the other discounts to shop there and stop smoking analogs. As the American public ages this is becoming a HUGE market. Seniors appreciate discounts and patronise businesses that cater to them and respect their age and buying power. What do you guys and gals think?:toast:

Speaking as someone several years your senior.........most stores that offer that only do so on one day of the week.......in addition to that there is no way on the internet to prove that you really are a senior citizen, whereas the store can simply ask to see your ID if there is any doubt. I understand where you are coming from.......SSI is my only scource of income.......I just don't think it would be feasible for online transactions.

I don't think AARP is the answer.........and you only need to be 50 to join that organization

So? I look at the newbie threads and there are lots that say been a smoker for 30 yrs. I estimate that lots of them are around 50. Why not lure them in with a freebie rather than let them go elsewhere?

I converted both my parents, and I support your idea. Unfortunately, I also agree that the verification for senoir discount eligibility would be hard to undertake via internet sales. I'd be stuck, anyway, because they rely on me to acquisition consumables for them. They don't do t3h interwebz lol.

Excellent! As for the verification process, this is just a thought experiment at this point and a heads-up to the owners. Perhaps it may lead somewhere and perhaps not. In any event, it's fun to think about.

we are call takers ,free loaders, parasites, even though i have paid in for 47 years, since i was 14 years old washing dishes in the evenings for 4 hours a night, now i am 67 yrs. old and i am really getting scared that the scum bag politicians are going to steal it from me or cut me back so much that i might have to live under a bridge,,i don't trust either party especially the tea baggers who are in league with the Koch bros. and don't know it or do they?

Before I decided to vape, I brought pipe tobacco, manual cigarette maker and cigarette tubes online. To prove I was over 18, I had to send a scan of my driver's license. Even though that process could still be manipulated such as using someone's else identification. Why take a chance just to get a senior discount?
