I have one from FT. It's my everyday device. My ONLY complaint is that the treads are just slightly short. With a flat top 18650 (65.2mm) there is 1 exposed thread on each end of the center tube. But it's solid as a rock and hits very well. The contacts will need a light cleaning with NeverDull or Brasso every so often to keep it performing at it's peak.

The button might have a tendency to unscrew. It's an easy fix by putting something in the female threads to take up the void and give you something to tighten against. I used bits of cotton (same stuff I use for wick) and kept adding until I could tighten the button down and have the correct throw.

should i run a fuse with this? where can i get them cheap? look on fasttech and cant find it. or should i run a kick? any sugestions where to pick one of them up cheap? have Them at fasttech but if someone has them in us for decent price i would just do that.

Depends on what you run on top.
Use High drain IMR batteries ( like the Sony 30amp18650), and brush up on ohms law.

Kicks won't work with sub ohm coils, but if you order from Fast Tech grab the kick for 8$. It's a cool device for $8 and work great with coils over 1.3 ohms

I too have one from fast tech and I am quite happy with it. No issues with threads when using flattop batts, but the switch, I put some noalox and it hasn't loosened yet

Sent from my mod using 18650 batteries.
