Hi,
So, I don't want to annoy you but I have serious gripes considering the quality of my latest vape eqiptment purchase.
I'm relativly new to vaping, I got me a mod about 12 weeks ago with the intention of getting rid of ciggarets, which I haven't regret ever since.
A good friend talked me into vaping, so I searched the shops and basically grapped a "iStick Pico" starter kit which came with the "Melo 3" tank
I'm still very happy with it but I wanted to keep it exiting and decided to buy a better tank.
This would be the moment where the "TVF4 Mini" comes into play.
I was pumped up when it arrived today and kept this mood through the unboxing and the first few tanks of juice. Taste is great, vapor production awesome. (For me at least)
But it wasn't long until I discoverd some corners on my tank which kind of got me thinking. The sealing on the top refill fits poorly, it kind of moves around and gives you a hard time closing the darn thing. The edges around the airflow holes are quite sharp and seem unfinnished, but the worst thing has yet to come... I was taking a few heavy hits from it and the coil was making some funny crackling noises (which I really like) but then, I heard a verry loud and sharp cracking noise. It had me twitching, belive me. A second later I noticed something wet drippling down my hand. Well, as you all might have guessed by now, my glass cracked. Out of the blue. I havent dropped the darn thing, it wasn't overly tightened or anything. To be honest, I can be kind of clumsy from time to time and I dropped my Mod a couple of times. I had to bend my Melo back in to shape with a pipe wrench more than once, so I was really reliefed to see a spare glass in my TFV4 box. Anyways, this incedent was one too much, could it be that I have got a bad sample, with bad surfaces which then put tension on the glass? I consider this a premium product and can't imagine this would be normal, for a tank in this price class. I don't wanna bash any products in public, this is why I posted this in the veterans section.
Should I contact SMOK support about my issues?
I figured it might be a good idea to ask for some opinions of more experienced vapers.
P.S. I'm from germany, so please excuse my typos.
