That was gonna be my suggestion.:thumb: 8-9 wraps on a 2.5 to 3mm coil tool should give you a resistance a little over 0.1 ohm. In case you haven't seen it, Steam Engine has a coil calculator (link below). As a bonus, 28g is a lot easier to wick than 32g. Good luck and don't hesitate to come back if there's still a problem- there are a lot of good folks here to help you!

Yep pretty much what I run, I use 29g though, 8 wraps and I wind up in the area of 0.12. I've never really got burning but it did take some experimenting with the wick to avoid hitting temp limit at higher watts (30+), I guess this would vary from atty to atty but on mine it makes a big difference how the wick is done, and even the spacing between coils.
