Seven-22 Not Firing!

Title says it all. Seven-22 suddenly stopped firing any atty. No short or low res errors. Seems to measure the resistance of atty just fine, but will no longer fire any atty I put on it. Have adjusted pin and tried fresh batteries. At a total loss of what to check/do next. Anyone know how to disassemble the head? Help!!!!!!!!!

Is there a setting in the menus that would disable the output? Maybe you've activated that by accident?

No. Nice thing about the Seven-22 is a very minimal and simple interface. The firing button can be locked out which seems to be working fine as the usual three-click on, three-click off will display the appropriate lock symbol.

What should I be looking for?

3.55 v with center pin removed and not depressing firing button @ 7 watt setting (minimum on device).
3.8 v with firing button depressed @ 7 watt.

Have you figured this out yet? If the screen is working it is definitely not a short.

It could be the spring loaded 510 connector going bad i know they just released a updated pin because of sub ohm coils burning up the spring.

OOoh, yeah I just got the new version with the adjustable center pin. The head really isn't intended to be disassembled. I would say contact the manufacturer, but I dunno how good Pioneer4you is with customer service. Is the device able to check the resistance of the installed atty?

Everything was working except for firing any atty I had been successfully using with it until then. All attys that wouldn't fire on the 722 would on my MVP, so it had to be the device. Luckily, the vendor I purchased from has excellent customer service and is replacing it since I only had it for two weeks.

My seven-22 broke as well, returned it to the shop I got it from, guy replaced it with a brand new one, that same day I got the same problem. These things are piles of junk. Chinese what do you expect.
