Several years ago I bought this and never used it...

If I recall, it was recommended by someone in this forum. It was made by a fellow and all my searches of my favorites and email messages have not helped me to find the link to the maker or even the name of the device. I never used it. The fellow made it for me so that it would use the v4l cartridges. I realize that is not really the current standard, but I have a lot of hte cartridges still so continue to use them.

My question is...can anyone please tell me what this thing is called or who made it? I need to figure out what kind of battery is supposed to be used with it.

it's a tiny bit smaller than a nickel...I'm guessing just under 7/8"

Yup. That's what I would say, just based on the switch type alone. Anything here ring a bell? => Thag Built / The Chuck
